Personnel Hiring

BOCA RATON, Fla. –
Lynn University head men’s lacrosse coach Brian Kingsbury has announced the hiring of Mark Miller as the program’s new assistant coach. Millers joins the Blue and White family following a two-year stint as men’s lacrosse assistant coach at Bowdoin College.

“I’m really excited for Mark to join my coaching staff as a Fighting Knight,” Kingsbury stated. “His past experiences as a coach, recruiter and level of maturity made him a front runner for the assistant coaching position. Mark has proven his ability to parallel Lynn’s motto Spirit, Service, Strength and will do a great job at Lynn.”

Miller will take over as the Blue and White’s recruiting and defensive coordinator.

“I’d like to thank Lynn University and Director of Athletics Devin Crosby for welcoming me into the Fighting Knights family,” Miller said. “I am especially thankful to head men’s lacrosse coach Brian Kingsbury for the opportunity to work with the Lynn lacrosse program. I am excited to uphold the values of Spirit, Service and Strength that have led to the success of the institution.”

Miller comes to Boca Raton after spending the past two seasons as the lead assistant for the Bowdoin Polar Bears.

Before his tenure at Bowdoin, Miller served as an assistant coach at Washington & Lee for three seasons (2015-17). At W&L, Miller helped lead the Generals to one Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) tournament title and one ODAC regular season crown. He was primarily responsible for the goalies and faceoff personnel but assisted in all aspects of the squad, including scouting and recruiting.

Prior to his time at Washington & Lee, Miller served an assistant coach at Colorado College, where the Tigers went 35-14 and advanced to two NCAA Tournaments in his three seasons with the team. Miller was also the head coach of the men’s lacrosse program at Texas Christian University from 2008-11 and he has served as the co-director of the Maximum Lacrosse Camps since 2010.

Miller began his collegiate playing career at Ohio Wesleyan in 2000, earning two letters before transferring to Adelphi, where he was a two-time all-conference selection as a goalkeeper.
