MIAMI MARLINS, MIAMI MARLINS FOUNDATION AND CITY OF HIALEAH TEAM UP FOR MARLINS YOUTH ACADEMY PROGRAMMING HEADQUARTERS AT BABCOCK PARK

The partnership at Babcock Park begins with a special celebration on Friday, May 19

MIAMI – Miami Marlins Foundation and City of Hialeah will celebrate the establishment of Babcock Park as the headquarters for Marlins Youth Academy programming, with the continuation of extensive Youth Baseball and Softball satellite programming throughout Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.

Nearly 14,000 kids across South Florida have enrolled in Marlins youth baseball and softball programming. This new addition expands the Marlins RBI initiative into Hialeah – an area some would call the birthplace of baseball in South Florida. Local kids around the community will have access to developmental baseball and softball programming, and educational resources through the Marlins Youth Academy at Babcock Park.

To celebrate the partnership, Marlins Day will be held at Babcock Park on Friday, May 19 with a special ceremony at 6:30 p.m. and Marlins NIKE RBI games at 7 p.m. There will be live entertainment, food trucks, and special guest appearances to make it a day to remember.
