MIAMI – The Miami Marlins, Miami Marlins Foundation, and Accident Medical Group are teaming up to spread holiday cheer with a Holiday Wishes Party for local students on Monday, December 11. Marlins All-Star pitcher Sandy Alcantara will join Billy The Marlin (dressed as Santa Claus) and volunteers from Accident Medical Group in distributing toys to the students.
The annual event looks to brighten the holidays for children from underserved families, providing the students with a field trip to loanDepot park, where they enjoy arts and crafts activities, interactive games, a photo op with Sandy Alcantara and Billy The Marlin, who will be dressed in his Santa Claus outfit, and holiday treats.
Each student walks out with a gift from the Marlins and Accident Medical Group, a Santa hat, and the holiday ornament they designed at the party.
This year, the event will take place on Wednesday, December 14 at 10 a.m. at loanDepot park.
