Miami Dolphins sign Stephens

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have signed cornerback Linden Stephens off Seattle’s practice squad and waived cornerback Chris Lammons.

Stephens has spent the majority of the season on Seattle’s practice squad after spending the offseason and training camp with Denver. Stephens had stints on the L.A. Rams’ and Denver’s practice squads in 2018 after spending that offseason and training camp with New Orleans. He originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with New Orleans on May 3, 2018.

Lammons joined Miami’s practice squad on Nov. 28, 2018 and has been on the active roster for the entire 2019 season. He’s played in 12 career games with 12 tackles (seven solo), one interception and three passes defensed, all this year. Lammons originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Atlanta on May 1, 2018. A native of nearby Plantation, Lammons attended Plantation High School.
