GASKIN CATCHES 10+ PASSES
• RB Myles Gaskin was very active in the passing game today, catching a career-high 10 passes for 74 yards (7.4 avg.)
and 2 TDs.
• Gaskin’s first touchdown came on a 24-yard pass from QB Jacoby Brissett in the first quarter to give Miami a 10-7
lead.
• He scored again on a 1-yard reception from Brissett in the third quarter.
• Gaskin is the only player in team history whose primary position was running back to have multiple games with at
least two touchdown receptions. Gaskin also had two touchdown receptions on Dec. 26, 2020 at Las Vegas.
o QB/RB/WR Jim Jensen also had two games with at least two touchdown receptions.
• Gaskin’s 10 receptions are tied for the most in Dolphins history by a player whose primary position was running back.
o Jensen had 12 on Nov. 6, 1988 at New England.
o Keith Byers, Ron Davenport, Rob Konrad and Tony Nathan all had games with 10 receptions.
• Gaskin became the third different Dolphins player to have at least 10 receptions in a game this season, joining WR
Jaylen Waddle (12 on Sept. 26, 2021 at Las Vegas) and TE Mike Gesicki (10 on Sept. 26, 2021 at Las Vegas).
o It’s the first time in team history the Dolphins have had three different players catch at least 10+ passes in a
game in the same season.


DOLPHINS OFFENSE STARTS QUICKLY IN FIRST QUARTER
• The Dolphins continue to score points in the first quarter of games. Miami had 10 points and 128 yards in the
opening frame of today’s contest.
• Miami has now scored 34 points in the first quarter this season, second among all NFL teams at the end of today’s
early afternoon games.
• RB Myles Gaskin caught four passes for 49 yards (12.3 avg.) and one touchdown in the first quarter. His 49 receiving
yards are the most by a Dolphins running back in the first quarter of a game since RB Arian Foster had 50 receiving
yards in the first quarter on Sept. 11, 2016 at Seattle.
• QB Jacoby Brissett completed 8-of-10 passes (80.0 pct.) for 119 yards in the first quarter, the most passing yards by
a Dolphins quarterback in the first quarter since QB Ryan Fitzpatrick had 158 on Dec. 22, 2019 vs. Cincinnati.
