WILKINS BECOMES FIRST NFL DL IN PAST DECADE TO POST 90 TACKLES
• Returning to his home state of Massachusetts, DT Christian Wilkins posted six tackles (four solo), 1.0 sack and one pass defensed.
• That brings his total to 92 tackles this season, which is a career high and the most by an NFL defensive lineman since Dallas’ Anthony Spencer had 95 in 2012:

    WADDLE MOVES INTO TOP FIVE IN FRANCHISE HISTORY
    • WR Jaylen Waddle had three receptions for 52 yards (17.3 avg.) today, bringing his season totals to 70 receptions for 1,312 yards (18.7 avg.) and eight touchdowns.
    • Waddle’s 1,312 receiving yards this season move him into fourth place on Miami’s all-time single-season chart. The Dolphins now have two of the four best receiving seasons in franchise history this year with one game still remaining:

    DOLPHINS EXTEND SACK STREAK TO 14 GAMES
    • The Dolphins totaled three sacks of Patriots QB Mac Jones today as LB Elandon Roberts brought him down for a loss of 12, DT Zach Sieler had a 10-yard sack and Dt Christian Wilkins sacked Jones for a loss of nine.
    • The Dolphins have sacked the opposing quarterback in 14 straight games, have multiple sacks in eight straight contests and have totaled 20 sacks in the past six weeks.
    • Miami’s 14-game sack streak is the team’s longest since a 15-game stretch from Nov. 24, 2019 to Nov. 15, 2020.
    • The Dolphins have recorded multiple sacks in eight straight games for the first time since 2014.
    • Nine different players have recorded at least a half-sack in the past six games and eight of those have multiple sacks since then.
    • In those last six weeks, Miami is allowing an average of just 5.97 net yards per attempt, which ranks seventh in the NFL at the end of today’s 1 p.m. games.
    • Roberts’ sack was one of his nine tackles today, which brings him to 100 tackles on the season for the first time in his career.
    o He also has a tackle for loss in three of the past four road games.
    • Sieler finished the game with six tackles (three solo), bringing him to a career-high 67 stops this season. It tops his previous career high of 62 set in 2021.
    DOLPHINS GET ON THE BOARD WITH 13 – PLAY TD DRIVE IN FIRST HALF
    • Miami’s first points of the day came on the first play of the second quarter, when WR Tyreek Hill caught a swing pass for a 2-yard touchdown run to tie the game at seven.
    • The play capped off a 13-play, 75-yard drive that answered New England’s first touchdown of the game.
    • On the drive, QB Teddy Bridgewater completed 3-of-4 passes for 46 yards and had one carry for six yards. All three of his completions were for 10+ yards.
    • RB Jeff Wilson Jr. had two key conversions on the drive, rushing for two yards on fourth-and-1 and catching a 13- yard pass on third-and-6.
    • It’s just Miami’s third scoring drive this season that was 13+ plays. Miami had a 14-play scoring drive on Dec. 17, 2022 at Buffalo and a 13-play touchdown drive on Nov. 13, 2022 vs. Cleveland.
    • For Hill, it was his first rushing touchdown since joining the Dolphins this offseason and marks his fifth straight road game with a score.

• With five tackles today, LB Jerome Baker recorded his 500th career tackle and became the first Dolphin since at least 2000 to total 500+ tackles in the first five seasons of a career.
• QB Teddy Bridgewater passed for 161 yards today, surpassing the 15,000 career passing yards plateau.
• TE Mike Gesicki caught his fifth touchdown of the season with a 4-yard grab in the fourth quarter. His five receiving touchdowns are tied for second among AFC tight ends and tied for sixth among NFL tight ends.
o Gesicki’s score was the first career touchdown pass for QB Skylar Thompson, who finished the game with 104 passing yards.
• RB Raheem Mostert totaled 29 yards on the ground and led Miami with 62 receiving yards today. It brings him over 1,000 scrimmage yards for the season for the first time in his career (1,032 – 820 rushing, 212 receiving).
o Mostert also scored on his second receiving touchdown of the season, a two-yard reception in the third
quarter.
• LB Andrew Van Ginkel added his 12th special teams stop of the season, which leads the team.
