DOLPHINS WIN FIFTH GAME IN A ROW, BEAT GI ANTS 20 – 9
• This is Miami’s fifth consecutive victory. It’s the first time the Dolphins have won five straight games since Oct. 11,
2020 to Nov. 15, 2020.
• It matches the longest winning streak under Brian Flores since his arrival in 2019.
• The Dolphins are now 7-3 in the month of December in the Flores era, including a 4-1 mark in December over the
past two seasons.
• Miami is now 17-6 after Halloween in the Flores era.
• This is Miami’s 12th win in its past 19 home games and the team’s fourth consecutive home victory.
• It’s the Dolphins’ first win over the Giants since Oct. 5, 2003 and the first time Miami has ever defeated the Giants at
Hard Rock Stadium.
DEFENSE HOLDS GIANTS WITHOUT A TOUCHDOWN
• The Dolphins defense did not allow a touchdown today for the second game this season. Miami also did not allow a
touchdown in the Week 9 win vs. Houston.
• Miami held the Giants to just 250 yards of total offense. It’s the second consecutive game the Dolphins have limited
an opponent to 250 yards or less after holding Carolina to 198 yards last week.
o The last time the Dolphins held back-to-back opponents to less than 250 total yards was Nov. 13, 2011 (246,
vs. Washington) and Nov. 20, 2011 (245, vs. Buffalo).
• The Dolphins have allowed less than 400 yards for the eighth consecutive game, the team’s longest such streak since
a nine-game streak from Jan. 1, 2017 to Nov. 5, 2017.
• Miami had eight more quarterback hits and five passes defensed today. The Dolphins lead the NFL in both
categories this season with 98 QBHs and 73 PDs. • The Dolphins have won five games in a row since Week 9. Here’s where they rank across the NFL in several key defensive categories in that span:

    • Tagovailoa won 10th career start today, completing 30-of-41 passes for 244 yards (73.2 pct.), 244 yards, two
    touchdowns and a 104.1 quarterback rating.
    • He has completed at least 70 percent of his passes in four of his past five starts.
    • It improves Tagovailoa’s completion percentage to 70.9 this season, which is the best single-season completion
    percentage in Dolphins history (min. 75 comp.).
    • His passer rating this season is up to 96.1, which is the third-best single-season passer rating in Dolphins history (min.

    • Despite starting just six games since Week 6 (min. 100 attempts), Tagovailoa leads the NFL in completion

    (98.9). • In his past three starts (Week 11) since returning from a finger injury, Tagovailoa leads the NFL in completions percentage (80.0), is third in completions (84), tied for fifth in passing yards (747), tied for sixth in passing touchdowns (5) and ranks seventh in passer rating (108.2). • Tagovailoa has posted a 100-plus passer rating in four consecutive games.     • The touchdown came on a 5-yard pass from QB Tua Tagovailoa to WR Mack Hollins. It was Tagovailoa’s 11th
    touchdown pass of the season, tying his career-high set as a rookie in 2020.
