POSTGAME NOTES
DOLPHINS BEAT RAVENS , 22 – 10, ON THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL
• Tonight’s win improves Miami’s record on Thursday Night Football to 5-6 all-time, including back-to-back victories
against Jacksonville last year and Baltimore tonight.
• The Dolphins have won two games in a row for the first time since posting victories in Week 15 and Week 16 last
season against New England and at Las Vegas.
• This is Miami’s first win against the Ravens since Dec. 6, 2015.
• The Dolphins have won seven of their past 11 home games.
• This is the first time the Dolphins have won two games within five days since 2009, when Miami defeated Tampa Bay
on Sun., Nov. 15 and won at Carolina on Thurs., Nov. 19.
• Miami is 8-3 in games played in November under Brian Flores, including a 5-1 mark at home.
DEFENSE LIMITS RAVENS TO THEIR LOWEST OFFENSIVE OUTPUT OF SEASON
• The Dolphins defense posted some impressive numbers tonight, limiting Baltimore to just 10 point, 304 total yards
and 94 rushing yards.
• The 10 points scored by Baltimore was its fewest in a regular-season game since they scored nine on Oct. 7, 2018 at
Cleveland.
o It was the third-fewest points scored (including playoffs) since 2018 when the Ravens drafted QB Lamar
Jackson and the second-fewest with Jackson as starting quarterback (3 at Buffalo, Jan. 16, 2021)
• The 304 yards gained by Baltimore was its fewest since Dec. 2, 2020 at Pittsburgh (219).
• The Dolphins have now allowed under 400 yards in each of the past five games – the team’s longest such streak
since a six-game run from Sept. 29, 2019 to Nov. 10, 2019.
• Miami limited Baltimore to 94 rushing yards, which was their second-lowest regular-season output since 2018.
o Baltimore entered the game with the NFL’s top rushing attack, averaging 161.6 rushing yards per game
before tonight.
o It’s the fifth consecutive game Miami has surrendered 102 rushing yards or less.
• The Dolphins forced two turnovers in the game, giving them 15 for the season. It’s the fifth-most in the NFL.
o Miami has now posted six takeaways in the past two games. The last time the Dolphins had that many
takeaways in two games was Dec. 6 – Dec. 13, 2020 (two vs. Cincinnati, four vs. Kansas City).
• Miami finished the game with four sacks. After a five-sack performance last week vs. Houston, the Dolphins have
posted back-to-back games with at least four sacks for the first time since Oct. 18 – Oct. 25, 2015 when they had six
at Tennessee and four vs. Houston.
• Miami had seven more quarterback hits today, giving the team a league-leading 66 this season.
• The Dolphins had seven passes defended today, giving the team 54 for the season – the most in the NFL.
HOWARD SCOOPS AND SCORES FOR SECOND CAREER TOUCHDOWN
• CB Xavien Howard scored the second touchdown of his career when he stripped Baltimore WR Sammy Watkins of
the ball and returned it 49 yards with 11:23 remaining in the game.

o The touchdown gave Miami a 15-3 lead.
o Howard’s first career touchdown was on a 30-yard interception return on Dec. 3, 2017 vs. Denver.
• The score was Miami’s second defensive touchdown of the season. LB Elandon Roberts had an 85-yard interception
return on Sept. 26, 2021 at Las Vegas.
• The last time the Dolphins returned a fumble for a touchdown was on Nov. 8, 2020 when DE Shaq Lawson had a 36-
yard return at Arizona.
• It was the second forced fumble and fumble recovery of the season for Howard. He also forced a fumble that he
recovered in the fourth quarter in the Week 1 victory at New England.
• The Dolphins now have eight opponent fumble recoveries this season, which is tied for third in the NFL.
• The 49-yard return was the sixth longest fumble return for a touchdown in Dolphins history:

TAGOVAILOA ’ S 64 – YARD PASS TO WILSON KEYS SCORING DRIVE
• With a five-point lead and 4:12 remaining in the game, the Dolphins took possession of the ball at their own 25-yard
line. Two plays later, QB Tua Tagovailoa found WR Albert Wilson down the sideline for a 64-yard gain.
• The 64-yard completion was the longest of Tagovailoa’s career.
o It was the longest completion by the Dolphins since QB Ryan Fitzpatrick found TE Mike Gesicki for a 70-
yard completion on Oct. 11, 2020 at San Francisco.
o It was the third-longest reception of Wilson’s career. He had receptions of 74 and 75 yards with the Dolphins
in 2018.
o Wilson finished the game as Miami’s leading receiver with 87 yards. It was the most receiving yards he’s had
in a game since Oct. 14, 2018 vs. Chicago when he had 155.
• Tagovailoa capped off the 75-yard drive with a quarterback sneak for the 1-yard score.
o It was the sixth rushing touchdown of Tagovailoa’s career, moving him into a tie for fifth place (with Ryan
Fitzpatrick and Ryan Tannehill) for most by a quarterback in Dolphins history.
• The drive took 1:53 off the clock and gave Miami a 22-10 lead with 2:19 remaining.

MIAMI DOLPHINS AND FISERV SUPPORTS VETERAN OWNED BUSINESSES WITH
FISERV BACK2BUSINESS GRANT ON – FIELD CHECK PRESENTATION
As the NFL Salute to Service game of the season, Dolphins vs. Ravens presented by Publix featured a check presentation to support veteran-owned businesses on Veterans Day, Thursday, November 11.
In partnership with Fiserv, the Miami Dolphins recognized three veteran-owned businesses during pregame with an onfield check presentation of $10,000 each as part of the Back2Business grant. Fiserv will also donate $200,000 to the
Miami Dolphins Foundation to support the organization’s education, health and volunteer activities to directly impact
South Florida’s communities.
Recipients of the Fiserv Back2Business grant included:
• Steven Mosley of S&J Catering – a premiere catering company specializing in fine dining. Mosley retired from
the U.S. army as a specialist.
• Pedro and Peter Hernandez of Govea Trucking – a local sand and gravel provider for municipal and private
organizations in the commercial and residential sectors.
• Jason Nunez of Go Digital Hero LLC – a LGBTQ-owned business providing professionals a path to work-life
balance through quality virtual administrative support. Nunez is a retired U.S. air force staff sergeant major.
The Miami Dolphins are committed to better serving our nation’s veterans, active-duty service members and their
families. Through year-round programming which is tied to the Dolphins’ community mission and aligns with the NFL’s

o It’s the third-most tickets distributed to a game since the Hard Rock Stadium modernization in 2015 (66,163

• S Jevon Holland had five tackles (four solo), one sack and two passes defensed.
o He’s the first NFL rookie to record at least one sack and two passes defensed in a game since Kansas City’s
L’Jarius Sneed and Philadelphia’s Michael Jacquet both did so on Dec. 20, 2020.
• WR Isaiah Ford had a career-long 52- yard reception in the second quarter from QB Jacoby Brissett.

• DE Emmanuel Ogbah recorded his seventh pass defensed of the season, which is the most in the NFL by a
defensive lineman.
• CB Justin Coleman intercepted a pass for the second consecutive game.
• CB Byron Jones led the team with nine tackles (seven solo) tonight and recorded his 400th career stop.
• S Eric Rowe recorded the 300th tackle of his career and has forced a fumble in back-to-back games.
• S Brandon Jones recorded the 100th tackle of his career.
• K Jason Sanders was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals tonight and extended his PAT streak to 63 consecutive makes,
the longest active mark in the NFL.
• P Michael Palardy had punts downed inside the 2-yard line in the fourth quarter of back-to-back games. Both punts
were downed by WR Mack Hollins.
