Men’s Golf – Marques, Ponsdomenech Named to All-SSC Teams

ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference announced on Tuesday afternoon that two Nova Southeastern men’s golfers have been named to the All-SSC teams.

Bruno Marques has been named to the All-SSC First Team after a season that culminated in an appearance at the Tulum Championship at the PGA’s Korn Ferry Tour. Marques ranks 16th nationally in Division II according to Scoreboard/Clippd. He has earned an average stroke rate of 70.7 per round played.

Ivan Ponsdomenech earns his place on the All-SSC Third Team. Ponsdomenech ranks 75th nationally and 23rd in the region. The highlight of his season came in the fall at the Jay Jennison Cup hosted by Flagler in September where he won the individual championship beating out 95 other golfers for the distinction.

Marques and Ponsdomenech return to action at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional in Valdosta, Ga. starting on Friday, May 8 and concluding on Saturday, May 9.
