Men’s Basketball: Saint Leo 95, Lynn 80

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn men’s basketball team was looking to string together three-straight Sunshine Conference wins when they took on Saint Leo. The shorthanded Fighting Knights were unable to do so and lost, 95-80.

STATS OF THE GAME:

–          Jordan Allen led the way with 25 points. He added nine rebounds.

–          Christian Peevy had 20 points and seven boards.

–          Jamison Evans got the first start of his Lynn career and scored 17 points.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:

–          The 17 points scored by Evans are a career-high as a Fighting Knight. He also played a career-high 34 minutes.

–          Egon Ruhek played a career-high 17 minutes and scored a career-high eight points.

–          Lynn played down two starters.

UP NEXT:
The Fighting Knights are back home to close out a three-game homestand when they host Rollins on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The Tars come in at 8-7 overall and have dropped four-straight SSC games.
