MARLINS TO DISTRIBUTE MEALS TO 1,000 FAMILIES ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 17, AT THE ANNUAL HOME PLATE MEALS THANKSGIVING DISTRIBUTION PRESENTED BY LOVE, TITO’S AND MAXSIP TELECOM

The event, which will take place on the West Plaza at loanDepot park, will provide a 25-pound meal box, including 10-pound turkey, to local families

MIAMI – South Florida’s staple community event ahead of the Thanksgiving returns to loanDepot park as the Miami Marlins and Miami Marlins Foundation are teaming with Love, Tito’s and MaxSip Telecom for the Home Plate Meals Thanksgiving Distribution. The food distribution, done with the support of Feeding South Florida, returns to the West Plaza. The annual event serves the Little Havana community ahead of the holiday season, providing 1,000 families with Thanksgiving dinners. Each family receives a meal box containing approximately 15 pounds of food and a 10-pound turkey.

This year, the event will take place on Friday, November 17 at 4:30 p.m., with opening remarks scheduled for 4:15 p.m.. Volunteers from the Miami Marlins, Love, Tito’s, and MaxSip Telecom will join Marlins players Luis ArraezNick Fortes, and Braxton Garrett in distributing meal boxes, filled with the staples for a traditional family Thanksgiving dinner, highlighted by items provided by partners Goya Foods, P.A.N., and Pepsi.
