The Biden Administration has officially released the Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS).
The OSHA ETS rule requires employers with more than 100 employees to require their employees be vaccinated or submit to weekly testing. This ETS takes effect beginning tomorrow, and requires employers to provide paid time off for vaccination beginning December 5th. Enforcement of the vaccine mandate will be required on January 4th, after which employees will be required to either be vaccinated or submit to weekly testing and wear a mask while in the workplace.
