Lynn Women’s Tennis Draws NCAA South Region No. 3 Seed

Lynn University’s top-ranked women’s tennis team was selected as the third seed in the South Region on Tuesday evening and will head to Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., for the preliminary rounds of the NCAA Division II Championship at the beginning of next week. The Fighting Knights return to the NCAA Tournament for the 23rd consecutive season.

In the South Region #2 bracket, Lynn will square off against sixth-seeded West Florida in the first round, set to take place on Monday, May 13 at 2 p.m. Lynn and West Florida met during the regular season, but the match was stopped midway due to rain and never made up.

Tournament host, second-seeded and nationally third-ranked Nova Southeastern takes on seventh-seeded Clark Atlanta on the other side of the South Region #2 bracket.

The two winners will meet in the South Region #2 final on Tuesday, May 14 at 10 a.m. with a berth to NCAA Nationals on the line.
