Lynn Volleyball Sinks Tars for Season Sweep

WINTER PARK, Fla. – On the road for what seems like the 100th time this month, Lynn volleyball dropped the first set against Rollins on Thursday night. The Fighting Knights did just that to overtake the relentless Tars in four sets.

STATS OF THE GAME:

  • For the second time in four matches, Marnie Kinna posted at least 20 kills to lead the Fighting Knights offense. She added 10 digs for her fourth-straight double double.
  • Victoria Macaluso has caught her second wind of her freshman season, she had her second-straight game with double digit kills with 15.
  • Biatriz Souza Berti continues her outstanding play, she posted a match-high 45 assists. Just for good measure she had 12 digs.
  • Sonja Udovcic posted a match-high 14 digs.
  • Sienna Kelly chipped in with nine kills.

BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:

  • Lynn has tied its mark for most Sunshine Conference Wins.
  • This is the first-time in program history they have posted double-digit conference wins in back-to-back seasons.
  • Lynn has now swept four season series on the season.
  • For the second-time this season Lynn has won seven-straight matches.
  • Souza Berti has had at least 30 assists in 10-consecutive matches.
