MIRAMAR, Fla. – Lynn University’s women’s track program opened its season on Saturday evening, participating in the Nova Southeastern University Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Maddie Wells won two events, the 200 dash (26.0) and the long jump (5.12m).
- Rachel Ramirez (1:02.71) and Lauren Leckenby (1:03.27) took the second and third spots in the 400.
- Donya Dreibelbis posted a top-5 finish in the 800 with a time of 2:37.43.
- Lynn raced two teams in the 3,200 relay, posting times of 10:27.27 and 10:37.09, respectively.
UP NEXT:
Lynn will compete in Tampa on Feb. 28 at the Tampa Twilight Invite, beginning at 4 p.m., for its second meet of the season.
