Lynn Men’s Basketball Gets Ready for a Challenging 2019-20 Schedule

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Following a season that saw Lynn University men’s basketball make it to the NCAA Sweet 16, the Fighting Knights have finalized their 2019-20 schedule.

The season opens Oct. 25, at 7 p.m. with a re-match at Florida Atlantic University who the Fighting Knights shocked last season with a 92-87 victory.

Lynn will again test itself against a Power 5 program when they travel to take on the University of Florida at the O’Connell Center on Oct. 29, at 7 p.m. That game will be streamed on the SEC Network+ and will be available on the ESPN app to anyone who gets the SEC Network on their regular TV package.

Lynn returns to the de Hoernle Sports & Cultural Center for the regular-season opener when they host Trevecca Nazarene on Nov. 15, at 8:30 p.m.

That is one of six home non-conference games on the schedule for the Fighting Knights, including games against Dominican (N.Y.) and Cedarville, who both won over 20 games last season.

The Sunshine State Conference slate starts early in the season with a trip to Embry-Riddle on Nov. 23.

That highly anticipated rematch of the NCAA South Regional Final comes on Jan. 8, when Nova Southeastern visits to Boca for a 7:30 p.m. matchup.
