MIAMI – The Miami Marlins today announced the launch of their Opening Weekend Art Contest, inviting all K-12 Miami-Dade County and Broward County Public School students to submit an original piece of art for the opportunity to win prizes. The students will showcase their creative talents while conveying the excitement of Marlins Baseball returning to loanDepot park for the 2024 season. The contest’s theme is, loanDepot park: Home of Béisbol!
The contest is split into four grade divisions, and each has a suggested sub-theme:
- K-2: Billy The Marlin and Friends Coloring Pages
- 3-5: Billy The Marlin’s House
- 6-8: Fun, Interactive Play Space at the Ballpark
- 9-12: The Ballpark of the Future
“We are thrilled to present this contest, and I cannot wait to see all of the amazing creations from our next generation’s bright minds,” said Tiago Pinto, Marlins Chief Marketing Officer. “Our goal is to positively impact local students by sparking their imagination, while also celebrating the start of the baseball season and offering the opportunity to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences and prizes.”

- On-field recognition prior to a game during Opening Weekend 2024.
- VIP Experience, including four complimentary tickets and batting practice access passes.
- Personalized Marlins jersey.

- Four tickets and complimentary parking to a game during Opening Weekend 2024.
- On-field recognition prior to a game during Opening Weekend 2024.
- Autographed bat.
Second Prize (four winners – one from each grade division)
- Four tickets and complimentary parking to a game during Opening Weekend 2024.
- On-field recognition prior to a game during Opening Weekend 2024.
- Autographed baseball.
Third Prize (four winners – one from each grade division)
- Four tickets and complimentary parking to a game during Opening Weekend 2024.
- On-field recognition prior to a game during Opening Weekend 2024.
- Autographed photograph.
Each school will identify their top three pieces of art, which will all be displayed at loanDepot park during Opening Weekend, March 29-31, 2024. In addition, all school finalists and their respective teachers will receive a voucher code redeemable for two tickets to a game during Opening Weekend.
Opening Weekend tickets, along with tickets for Opening Day on Thursday, March 28, 2024, are available now at Marlins.com/Tickets. The Marlins, who are coming off the club’s fourth Postseason appearance and first in a full season since 2003, begin the 2024 season at home on March 28 vs. the Pittsburgh Pirates.
