| May 12, 2019 Allen Park, Mich.— The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent WRs Tom Kennedy and Jordan Smallwood. Both Kennedy and Smallwood participated in rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. Additional contract terms were not disclosed. In addition, the Lions announced that they have waived TE Nate Becker and TE Donald Parham. Kennedy comes to Detroit as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Bryant University (R.I.), where he played football and lacrosse for the Bulldogs from 2014-18. Smallwood comes to the Lions after a most recent stint with the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad in 2018.
