Allen Park, Mich.— The Detroit Lions announced today that they have signed free agent S A.J. Howard to the practice squad. Additional contract terms were not disclosed. Originally signing with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted rookie free agent out of Appalachian State in 2018, he spent his rookie season on the New York Giants’ and New England Patriots’ practice squads. This season, Howard has been a practice squad member with the Baltimore Ravens, Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns. |
