LIONS RE-SIGN RB ZACH ZENNER TO ONE-YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION

Allen Park, Mich. – The Detroit Lions announced today that they have re-signed RB Zach Zenner to a one-year contract extension. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.

After originally joining the Lions in 2015 as an undrafted free agent of out South Dakota State, Zenner has appeared in 36 career games (six starts) for Detroit. In 2018, he played in eight games (one start) for the club and rushed for 265 yards and three touchdowns on 55 carries.

Entering his fifth NFL season, Zenner’s career totals include 174 rushing attempts for 686 yards (3.9 avg) and eight touchdowns.
