LIONS AGREE TO TERMS WITH FREE AGENT CB DARRYL ROBERTS

Allen Park, Mich.— The Detroit Lions announced today that they have agreed to terms with free agent CB Darryl Roberts. Additional contract terms were not disclosed.
Roberts joins Detroit after spending the previous four seasons (2016-19) with the New York Jets, where he appeared in 56 games (26 starts) and totaled 164 tackles (150 solo), 27 pass defenses and three interceptions. He was originally selected by the New England Patriots in the seventh round (247th overall) of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Marshall and spent his rookie season on the team’s Reserve/Injured list.
