Kobe Rodgers Named SSC Player of the Week

MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference announced the Players of the Week for the week of December 5 – 11, on Monday afternoon. Nova Southeastern Sharks student-athlete Kobe Rodgers (Men’s Basketball) earned honors following his performance this past week.  
 
Nova Southeastern Sunshine State Conference Players of the Week awards are presented by Courtyard Marriott. 

Rodgers picked up his first Defensive Player of the Week honors with his play at Palm Beach Atlantic. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native recorded a game-high six steals, five defensive rebounds, and a blocked shot in 22 minutes on the court. Offensively, the sophomore guard scored 17 points as the Sharks won 100-78 over the Sailfish. The win brings the Sharks record to 8-0 and marks the 6th game this season where NSU has scored 100 or more points.
