Josh Hader of the Milwaukee Brewers named the National League Reliever of the Month for June; Lou Trivino of the Oakland Athletics named the American League Reliever of the Month for June

Josh Hader of the Milwaukee Brewers has been voted the National League Reliever of the Month for June, and Lou Trivino of the Oakland Athletics has been voted the American League Reliever of the Month for June. The announcements were made earlier today on MLB Network.

Hader earned his fourth career monthly award, most recently in June 2019, and is the first Brewers winner since his bullpen-mate Devin Williams in September 2020. Josh’s four Reliever of the Month awards are tied for second-most since relief pitchers started receiving monthly honors in 2005, and trail only Edwin Díaz and Aroldis Chapman for the Major League lead (5). Trivino claimed his first career AL Reliever of the Month Award and is the first A’s recipient since his former bullpen-mate Liam Hendriks in July-August 2020.
