DETROIT (11/1/2019) — University of Detroit Mercy transfers Nicole Johanson, Maxine Moore and Aly Reiff have all received waivers from the NCAA and all three are eligible to play for the Titans in the upcoming 2019-20 women’s basketball season. Detroit Mercy opens the season, its 43rd as a Division I program, on Tuesday, Nov. 5, hosting Loyola (Ill.) at 7 p.m. from Calihan Hall.

“I would like to thank the NCAA and the players’ previous schools for their help with making it possible for these young ladies to be able to play right away,” head coach Bernard Scott said. “This is a big boost for our program! Having their experience makes us better! Each player brings something different to the team and it makes us that much stronger.”
