(On the improvement of the defense) “We did not get the shutout like we wanted, but we played good ball. We have to finish stronger, our d-line did a good job and our guys in the back did a good job also and we just played complimentary football.”
(On the energy in the room with Jalen Ramsey’s situation) “I don’t know what’s going to happen, but he told us he is out there on the field rocking with us. We knew it was going to be a different type of energy in the stadium with the fans but he maintained his focus and stayed with us.
(On what Jalen told him at the end of the game) “He told me, ‘We will see what happens and just keep rocking until then,’ so we do not know what is going to happen. Jalen is more than a teammate to me, he is also like a brother to me on and off the field.”

(On Gardner Minshew II’s performance in tonight’s game) “It has been impressive watching him play the game and make good decisions out there on the field. What he did today was incredible. There were so many opportunities we did not capitalize off of, so we have more work to do. Overall we played good enough to win tonight’s game.”
(On Jalen Ramsey’s situation) “If something happens, then it’s going to happen. I have no control on what happens to him. I feel like when he is on the team we are a whole lot better but I trust whatever happens and hope we can be the best we can be.”
(On the defensive line getting 9.0 sacks.) “We did a good job tackling well. Giving ourselves opportunities, we got early points. Gardner [Minshew II] played great especially early in the game getting us an early fourteen.”
(On how he felt about the win week 3.) “This is a division game at home. We were 0-1 in the division and 0-2 on the season. This was a game that was very important. We played with a sense of urgency, we played like it was important and it showed. This is a demeanor we have to have at all times.”

(On the game being a regular game) “No, it was a prime time game since it is Thursday and game nights like these are prime time games. It was a little bit more amped up out there on the field and in the stadium.”
(On what Minshew II means to them team) “He came in and played his role. He came in the game and did a good job on the field. He was amped up and led the team to a nice victory.”
(On after week 1 defensive performance) “This defense has always been elite, the guys on this team are talented, and we put in work on the field. We see the defense worked hard today and got 9 sacks in tonight’s game, so I say we stepped up to the plate when we needed too. I was excited out there with them and be able to get a good win.”
