JAGUARS SIGN WR TERRELLE PRYOR SR.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed eighth-year veteran WR Terrelle Pryor Sr., the club announced today. To make room on the roster, the Jaguars waived Lyndon Johnson.

Pryor Sr., 6-4, 228, has 115 career receptions for 1,563 yards and 11 total TDs in 51 NFL games during stints with Oakland, Seattle, Kansas City, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Washington, the New York Jets and Buffalo. Last season he played in two games for Buffalo and six contests for the New York Jets, making a combined 16 receptions for 252 yards and two TDs.

In 2016, the Jeannette, Pa. native played in all 16 games in Cleveland and totaled 77 receptions for 1,007 yards and five total TDs (four receiving, one rushing). Pryor Sr. was originally selected in the third round of the 2011 Supplemental Draft by Oakland, where he played three seasons primarily at quarterback.

Pryor Sr. competed collegiately at Ohio State, where he helped the Buckeyes to back-to-back Big Ten titles in 2008-09. He was also named Big Ten Freshman of the Year after he posted 1,311 passing yards and 631 rushing yards. Pryor Sr. earned Rose Bowl MVP honors in 2010 after throwing for 266 yards and adding another 72 on the ground in a 26-17 victory against Oregon.

Pryor Sr. starred at Jeannette High School (Pa.), where he was named Pennsylvania Player of the Year twice, the offensive player of the year and the MVP of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He also earned fourth-team Parade All-American honors in basketball in 2008.

Pryor Sr. will wear No. 10 for the Jaguars.
