JAGUARS SIGN LYNDON JOHNSON, ASSIGN ROSTER DESIGNATIONS

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed first-year DL Lyndon Johnson to their 90-man roster, the club announced today.

Johnson originally signed with the Jaguars as a rookie free agent following the 2018 NFL Draft and appeared in three games during his rookie season. He played collegiately at Cincinnati, where he appeared in 26 career games and totaled 31 tackles (17 solo), four tackles for a loss, 3.0 sacks and one forced fumble. Prior to enrolling at Cincinnati, he spent two years at Holmes Community College where he totaled 45 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss and 9.0 sacks.

The Jaguars also placed rookie RB Ryquell Armstead, sixth-year WR Marqise Lee and third-year OL Cam Robinson on the team’s Active/Physically Unable to Perform list. In addition, the team placed rookie OL Donnell Greene and fifth-year LB Jake Ryan on the team’s Active/Non-Football Injury list.

The Jaguars now have 90 players on their 90-man active roster.
