JAGUARS SIGN CB JORDAN BROWN TO THE PRACTICE SQUAD

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed rookie CB Jordan Brown to the team’s practice squad, the club announced today.

Brown, 6-0, 201, was originally selected in the seventh round (223rd overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft by Cincinnati and spent the preseason with the Bengals before being released. He attended South Dakota State University, playing for the Jackrabbits from 2014-18 and compiled 148 tackles, 35 passes defensed, eight INTs, six TFL and four forced fumbles over 51 career games. As a senior in 2018, Brown finished with 29 tackles, 15 passes defensed, three INTs, one forced fumble and one TFL, earning first-team FCS All-America honors from American Football Coaches Association, and third-team FCS All-America honors from the AP.

Brown attended Paradise Valley (Phoenix, Ariz.) High School where he played WR and CB. He totaled 159 receptions for 2,277 yards and 26 TDs over three seasons and earned first-team all-section and first-team all-state honors as a senior.
