JAGUARS RE-SIGN OFFENSIVE LINEMAN TYLER SHATLEY

JACKSONVILLE– The Jacksonville Jaguars have re-signed sixth-year OL Tyler Shatley, the team announced today.

Shatley, 6-3, 310, has appeared in 94 games and made 16 starts during his six-year career in Jacksonville. He was one of three undrafted rookies to make the opening day roster in 2014 and has played in all 16 regular season games on four occasions. In 2020, he appeared in all 16 games and started a career-high 10 games – seven games at center, two at left guard and one at right guard.

In 2017, Shatley was part of an offensive line that helped the team lead the league in rushing for the first time in franchise history and allowed a franchise-low 24 sacks.

The former Clemson Tiger began his career as a fullback in college, before moving to the defensive line in 2010 and offensive line in the spring of 2012. He attended East Burke (Icard, N.C.) High School, where he was the No. 3-rated FB in the nation and also was the team’s punter.

He and his wife, Natalie, have one son, Boone, and one daughter, Sutton.
