OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR GRANT UDINSKI

(On his main takeaways from interviewing for head coaching jobs with Cleveland and
Buffalo) “There’s a lot, probably too much to go through in this time and space right now,
but it’s a great process to go through. I was honored to be able to be considered for those
opportunities and really, it’s a testament to the work that our team and our offense has put
in to kind of raise my status and elevate me to even be considered. You go through that
process and you learn a lot about what you believe in and what you think and what you
really are convicted in because you think about all the different things you’ve come across
over your time in coaching or even before coaching and you kind of have to whittle it down
to the things that are most important to you and your core values. So, a lot of what you’re
learning is really maybe things that you already knew, but what are your priorities? That kind
of becomes the focus of those interviews because it’s such a short period of time where
you’re trying to put together all of your plans and thoughts in a clear and concise manner.”
(On how he scored on the Browns’ reported personality test) “I don’t know, you’ll have to
ask them that (laughs). You’ve got to ask them that. I don’t have the results. I don’t know if
that’s a good thing or a bad thing that they didn’t give me the results.”
(On facing Cleveland in the season opener) “I don’t really think about it like that. I don’t
think about it like that. You kind of just are focused on one thing at a time and whether it
was them or whether it was a division opponent or whoever it was, you just get excited to
have somebody on the schedule because you feel like you wait so long to find out what the
schedule is nowadays that it could have been anybody on there. You’re excited to get back
to football.”
(On QB Josh Allen being involved in head coaching interviews for Buffalo) “Yeah, that’s
another one I probably don’t have the time to go through how much that means to be a guy
in that interview. His status, his intelligence, his football intelligence, all the things that he
cares about. It was really cool to get the opportunity to sit down and talk to him and it’s
cool to see him interact with the rest of the organization there, and it’s a sign of what they

think about him and the person that he is to trust his opinion and value his opinion on
things more than just football, but things about life and locker room and the camaraderie
and everything that goes into running an organization.”
(On how quickly he knew he wanted TE Nate Boerkircher on the roster) “That’s a great
question. I think when we go and evaluate guys, there’s certainly a type of guy that we’re
looking for, and the play style of that type of player is something that’s evident usually right
away. Now, there’s always questions beyond that on their skill set and where they fit and
what their role could be. Because you’re always trying to project, but his play style, like the
rest of the guys that we kind of targeted, popped off the tape right away. So, when you ask
how quickly it was, it was probably pretty quick into the first game you put on that you see
the way he plays, the effort, the strain, the physicality, the toughness, the speed, all of
those things. They pop off the tape no matter what clip you’re watching.”
(On opportunities for growth for OL Anton Harrison) “Certainly continued growth. We know
that progression is never linear, but hopefully we can continue to compound off the things
that he built on last year. He’s a guy, he knows this, that his ceiling is essentially as high as
he wants it to be. So that’s a beautiful predicament to be in because we’re going to push
him to continue to push beyond where he is at right now, no matter where that is. He’s
going to be responsible for his end of it, and we got to be responsible for our end of it, giving
him the opportunity and tools to continue to elevate.”
(On what Run Game Coordinator Brian Picucci brings to the staff) “There’s a lot. There’s a
lot. I think first and foremost in the offensive line room, he’s a match with the identity that
we want to continue to instill in the offensive line. The toughness, the physicality, the same
things I talked about Nate are true for the offensive line and he brings that every day. Then
you add on the element of his familiarity with Liam [Head Coach Liam Coen] and what
we’re trying to get accomplished along with his scheme expertise, the different offenses
he’s been in, the different offenses that he’s ran, bringing that and implementing that into
our personnel and the system that we have here is going to give us more versatility and
more options to attack people in the run game, protection game, play-pass protection
game, screen game, you name it. So, it’s been a nice complement to what we had in the
room and what we continue to try to build in the room.”
(On how what he teaches QB Trevor Lawrence changes this year) “I think the core
foundations and those core principles stay the same and hopefully they stay the same
every single year, but you’re always looking to grow. So, whether it’s improving on the things
that he did well last year or whether it’s the areas of improvement that maybe we didn’t

quite meet our standard, we’re going to try to find improvement in all of those areas. So, it
never really stops in terms of our expectation for growth and trying to get better, but there
are certainly areas of focus based on doing something well or doing something that we
might have already done well, but we know that there’s more room to grow in those areas.
He knows that, we know that and it’s not always one person. The part of the quarterback
position that makes it so tough is a lot of times you’re dependent on 10 other guys or even
more than that, defense is given you certain looks, to show your talents and showcase the
things you’ve learned and grown.”
(On what he liked about RB Chris Rodriguez Jr.’s tape) “I think I’m going to go back to Nate
again. It’s probably the same thing anytime you ask me about any guy, it’s going to be the
same things that I start with the physicality, the play style, the strength, the intelligence as a
player, those things are evident right away. Then you talk about the contact balance and his
ability to find efficient runs sometimes in dirty looks and looks that might not be blocked as
cleanly as possible. So, he gives you an element of the run game that might not always be
80-yard runs, but when you look at it, how often are 80-yard runs really showing up in the
NFL nowadays? Pretty few and far between, but what he does give you is the opportunity to
still get explosive runs and then be efficient on the runs that might not always be perfectly
blocked.”
(On when the team began to evaluate their identity going into this season) “I think no matter
what the outcome of the season was last year, we would continue to say that that’s where
we need to evolve. That’s going to be such a focus for us no matter what the outcome of a
given game, week, season is that we’ll always be pushing that identity of the offense and
the physicality, toughness, all of those things. Now the process of evaluating what we did
last year starts as soon as the season’s over. So, you take the opportunity to look back on
the granular element of this specific play or this specific player or this specific technique
that a player does as soon as the season’s over. And then as that process continues, you
start to zoom out and zoom back in and try to take the different perspectives to see the big
picture along with fixing those minute smaller details. So, it’s kind of a continuous process
from the moment the season ends, basically until the players show back up. And it’s
probably still continuing right now. I wish I could say that we could sit down in two weeks
and come together with all the answers, but we know that that’s going to take a lot of time
and effort as a collective staff to put that together.”
(On where the group is at now during OTAs compared to this point last year) “That’s a really
good question. I honestly try not to do that too much because I want the guys to live in the
present and be focused on where we are at right now and what we can improve at this

moment. So, we want to be excellent in our meetings today. We want to be excellent at
practice today, whether it’s routes on air… We want to be great in the cafeteria behind me,
eating the right things and proper nutrition and right in the weight room. So, hopefully we’re
better than where we were last year. I think that having the foundation of the offensive
system and the knowledge that the guys have on the standards and expectations with
which we execute the system or with which we go about our meetings, about our business
is something that’ll pay dividends and kind of compound throughout the offseason. So, I do
feel that there is a clear understanding of those expectations and standards as well as kind
of the core principles of the offense, but we never can use that to take that for granted and
say, okay, we’ve got something under control, we’ve got that done, we don’t have to worry
about that. We’re going to continue to push the pace on even the smallest, simplest
details. When we sit down to teach the offense again, we’re teaching it from scratch like
we’ve never heard it. Whether it’s a guy who’s been in the system before, whether it’s a
coach or whether it’s a player, we all have to approach it with that beginner mindset.”
(On expectations for WR Parker Washington this season) “Yeah, the expectation question is
always so tough for me because I think that Parker and myself probably have pretty high
expectations for Parker as it is, so I couldn’t really give you a good gauge on what the
expectations outside of that are. I think really highly of Parker. I hope that Parker thinks
really highly of himself in that regard too, because we think that he’s capable of what he did
at the end of the season last year and more than that. And I think we thought that even early
in the year where the numbers statistically may not have matched what he did at the end of
the year. So, it’s hard for me to truly gauge how much the expectations changed, but I
would say our expectation for him moving forward and currently is to continue to grow and
even do more than what he did last year. I feel pretty confident saying I know he feels the
same way. Not to say that we underachieved or he underachieved, but to know that he is a
highly capable player who’s capable of even more.”
(On where he wants to grow professionally) “There’s a lot of things that I look back on last
year’s season and just like we talk about evaluating where we need to improve as an
offense, a lot of it will start with me as the coordinator. And there are really simple things
that I think I could have communicated this better, I could have communicated this more
clearly. And then there are maybe more complicated things where we built a certain
package of plays in a way where I felt like I could have done a better job of putting those
plays together. Or there are certain plays that we put in a game plan that I look back and
say, I should not have allowed that play to get in a game plan. Or maybe there’s an
opportunity to attack a defense in a certain way that I didn’t pursue. There are opportunities
all over the place. That’s another one of those questions, I probably have a list of 200 things

that unfortunately, I could improve on. The bright side of that is there’s 200 things that I can
improve on. So as a coordinator, for me personally, it’s the same approach that we take
with the offense when we say we want to run the ball better, well how does that start with
my role? What am I doing? How am I influencing the run game to make sure that that’s
actually possible? So just like we sit down and evaluate those things, I’ve got to do the
same thing for myself. That’s an excellent question.”
(On his backpacking trip for the summer) “I kind of have it down to two locations, but I don’t
have it all booked yet. I appreciate you asking, it’s a good reminder because now I’m
stressed out about the fact that I don’t have everything booked again, but I’m pretty close.”

QUARTERBACK TREVOR LAWRENCE
MEDIA AVAILABILITY

(On building a connection with WR Jakobi Meyers going into year two together) “It’s great. I
mean, time is something that’s important I think for building chemistry within your team,
but especially quarterback to receiver. I’ve talked about it a little bit in the past. It was
surprising how quickly we clicked in the season, but to have the time now to really go into
the details and take our time and get routes after practice. Obviously, we were doing that
before, but it’s in the season so it’s moving fast. But to have that time, you can tell it’s just
going to make us better and better. And the whole playbook, when he first got here, it’s
trying to just give him the little, I guess, soundbites and tips so he can learn it the fastest.
Now he actually gets a true installation of the offense and can learn it and take his time and
it’s not rushed. At first, I was impressed by how he was even able to pick it up.”
(On if he was surprised by how many people thought he cut his hair) “I think our team did a
great job with the video. I mean, the haircut wasn’t great, it didn’t look good, but it looked
real.”
(On if he got a lot of texts about his “haircut”) “Yeah, I got a lot of texts. My grandma, she
texted me. I got a lot of texts. Each generation is—I think people my age, typically, they don’t
really believe it, but then the older and older it gets, it’s like they just can’t quite figure out
the AI and the fakes out there.”
(On if anyone made fun of his “haircut”) “Oh, a ton of people. A ton of people. Not to my
face. Well, I mean, yes, to my face, some people. I got a lot of, ‘That’s not real, right?’ And
I’m like, ‘No.’ They’re like, ‘Oh, thank God.’ And then they say how bad it was, but I wonder
what they would’ve said if I was like, ‘Yeah, it’s real.’ So, that’s funny.”
(On if he’d ever cut his hair short) “I would. I mean, I don’t know. Not anytime soon. Alright.
That’s not the plan, but maybe keep that in my back pocket if I ever need a little PR, I guess.
That worked pretty good. So, if I need somebody to get off my back, just do a fake haircut.”

(On K Cam Little’s new hair) “Cam looks great. He’s like a Chia Pet. I actually think when
you talk about Cam, he does some goofy stuff, but he is one of the only people that can pull
off the stuff he does. He has great style and I could never do that and look cool. He still
looks cool. So, he’s one of the few that’s like that.”
(On if he’s concerned about his image being used in AI-generated posts) “Yeah, I didn’t
know I was in the sub advertising business, but I guess I was at one point (laughs). It’s kind
of full circle, but yeah, I was surprised. I mean, I think it’s a crazy world. All the stuff out
there now and all the AI and fake stuff, it’s just hard. You can’t really believe anything you
see. I mean, not that that’s anything that’s really going to be bad for me or hurt me. So,
thankfully it’s nothing too serious, but I don’t know, it’s tough. There’s so much fake stuff
out there.”
(On the opportunity to refine the offense during OTAs) “Yeah, I think just the opportunity to
focus on the details more than just absorbing all the information and just trying to get it on
tape and run it and then make all the corrections. Like last year, it’s just a lot more to take in
and your mind is racing a little bit because you’re thinking about a lot. So, this year to have
the system down, a bunch of guys that have played together, obviously there’s a few new
pieces but majority of us really know it. We can focus on talking about all the details of
each route and how it’s going to adjust versus certain coverages and then also making
tweaks to the concepts and to the plays that we already have in. We’ve had a handful of
things where we’ve changed them from last year because running them a full season and
seeing what we like, it’s like okay, this would be better to add on the backside than what we
were running. So, being able to do stuff like that and just improve the offense, not just
completely, alright, just do the same thing. Trying to see what is better and making some
tweaks.”
(On his chemistry with WR Brian Thomas Jr.) “Yeah, it’s been great. We’ve put a lot of work
in throughout all spring really of just trying to get the timing down, the chemistry, all those
things, get on the same page, and it’s starting to pay off. It doesn’t always happen
immediately. Sometimes it takes a little time. But he’s super committed to it and so am I
and I think us getting those extra reps is paying off. And we’ve got a lot more time. I mean,
we’ve got what, four more weeks or five more weeks of OTAs-type practices? And then we
also have the break in the summer until training camp. So, so many reps that we can get
from now until then to get us ready for the season. But I mean, I have no doubt we’re going
to be ready to go. He is going to have a great year. He is special player and just excited that I
feel like we’re clicking more and more every day.”

(On how much further ahead he is with the offense in year two) I think the question is more
so what is—it’s not of how much more I know because it’s way more that I know of the
offense, but it’s really being intentional every day, because that’s the trap is to go through
the motions just because you know the offense. I think our focus as a whole unit has been
really good on the details and really mastering all the little things because now when we
hear the play call, we hear it, we know it, we know what to do, we don’t even really have to
think about it. But it’s focusing on all the details to take us to the next level of being a great
offense.”
(On the balance of appreciating last season’s performance but knowing there are still
improvements to make) “I don’t really think about last year anymore. It’s gone. Obviously
offensively we did some good things, especially towards the end of the season, but you
think about we didn’t even really start clicking until the last half of the season, the second
half of the season. So, that says enough about how much more we can do as an offense,
how much more I can do as a quarterback, an individual to help our offense score more
points and be better throughout the whole season. You look at how much better we were
Weeks 8 or 9 through 18, I mean, we were way better. So, we’ve got a whole half of the
season we can really add that on to what we already did. But it’s a new season, so that’s
not going to win us any games this year. So, I think the guys have really taken it serious.
Everyone’s moved on, turned the page and we’ve got to get better.
(On how excited he is to dive into multiple tight end sets) “I think it’s great. You see things
that just kind of around the league come and go and new trends and new things that try to
give one side of the ball an advantage. There’s a lot of stuff on defense, it’s the same thing,
it’s just obviously their side of the ball, but things that come in that feel like it might give you
the advantage. You know what type of personnels you’re going to get. You can find some
mismatches if you have really good tight ends, which we have a great crew of tight ends,
and then obviously running the ball’s great, all that. There are so many options that you can
do and you kind of know at least what type of personnel you’re going to get on defense
that’s going to come out there. So, it can be a little bit easier to predict, but defenses adjust
really quickly. And I’m sure this year you’re going to see a lot more adjustments on the
defensive side too. It’s one of those things where we’ll just have to see where all that goes.”
(On having the “play anybody anywhere” mindset going into the next two seasons with
difficult schedules) “Yeah, I think that’s always the mindset. I mean, you can’t control any
of that. Us as players and coaches definitely can’t. We get our schedule, that’s who we’re
playing and when we’re playing and that’s all we need to know so we can just be there at
the game ready to play. Besides that, I mean, you can’t control any of it, so there’s no point

in worrying about it. We’re going to go out there, put our best foot forward, win as many
games as we can versus whoever and wherever. So, I think that mindset is good for a team
and we can’t worry about where it is, how many people are going to be there, all that stuff
doesn’t matter.
(On working on pushing the ball down the field this season) “Yeah, I mean, this whole
spring, like I said, similar to my work with BT [WR Brian Thomas Jr.], that’s been a big part of
it. And with other guys too, just throwing more of those and trying to get the timing and
talking a lot in meetings about the timing of throws, the landmarks, the depths, all those
things to be sharper on the deeper throws, get some more explosives. Definitely something
that we need to take more advantage of in our offense and use the weapons that we have
and hit those shots down the field.”
(On WR/CB Travis Hunter getting mental reps as he works his way back from injury) “Yeah, I
think it’s all just good for him because he is still a young player and obviously both sides of
the ball, he is learning a lot. So now is a time where he really can just get so much mental
work, and in practice he can watch and he sees things. And every time, especially now that
we’re having competitive periods, you see a rep and you see someone do something maybe
great that you learned from or not right that you learned from, you say, ‘Okay, versus Cover
2, I need to take that higher.’ He just needs to memory bank all those things so that when he
is back moving around, he’s feeling good, he is flying around, he has it down. I think he will.
He’s been out there basically in the huddle every play. We’ve got a 12th guy. So, he’s been in
the huddle listening, he’s locked in. He’s done a great job.”

HEAD COACH LIAM COEN
MEDIA AVAILABILITY
MAY 26, 2026

(On why the team practiced in the afternoon today) “It was more so travel and logistics for
the guys off the vacation and Memorial Day weekend plans and just trying to not run into
any issues. Give these guys a little bit of time to get back and organize it. And then you try to
do something nice, and the weather has a little bit of a different answer for you, so it was
more logistics.”
(On he felt today went on the field) “Yeah, I thought the guys did a nice job of staying agile.
We were touch and go there for a while in terms of being able to come outside, go in,
staying in, so that was a little bit of annoyance if you will. But I thought the guys did a nice
job of setting a standard of how we practice, of setting the tone for the rest of the spring.
Got some good work, a lot of coachable stuff off tape that we’ll be able to touch on, but I
was pleased with the way the guys came out and tried to execute.”
(On joint practices) “All three preseason games will have a joint in those three.”
(On what’s next for WR Parker Washington) “Man, he’s done a nice job this spring so far of, I
guess a lot of people, in the way you look at maybe his stats of the season and the late
surge and doing what he did in the second half of the season. I thought we saw some
flashes. You look at Cincinnati early in the season where he really came on and then just
the consistency of the dominating presence that he was towards the end of the season.
The things that he was able to do both in the slot and outside for us. I think activating him a
little bit, continuing to work on the ball in hand stuff that he can do at a high level because
of the way he’s built and wired, the screen game, continuing to work on those things, the jet
sweeps, getting him the ball in some of those ways, and then the complete route tree of
slot, outside, being able to do all those things. I think that’s a step he can take.”
(On the value of joint practices) “Because you’re in a little bit more of a controlled setting
that you can get the guys you want specific reps and not have to worry about as much that
you’re putting a guy in a full-contact situation in preseason games that don’t count against

our schedule record. And so, I think it’s something a little bit more controlled. I think the
guys, the teams that we’re practicing against have a good understanding of what that looks
like and being able to do that together. And the guys, they get more competitive. You look at
Miami last year, although we had some ups and downs in that practice, I thought we saw
some good competitive juice, some real game-like participation in those practices. I think
you’re always trying to simulate game-like, and I think that those opportunities simulate
game-like more than anything.”
(On if joint practices are easier to orchestrate in year two) “A little bit. Well, we didn’t have
any of the luxury last year of picking those and having those opportunities. We only had the
one opportunity presented to us based on the schedule and the teams that we were
playing, it just didn’t work out. So yeah, year two from a schedule standpoint and the teams
that we’re playing against, we were able to get on it earlier as well in terms of trying to set
things up and communicate with some of those teams we may be playing in those
preseason games, so I feel a lot better about it in year two. Yeah.”
(On if the continuity on the offensive line has shown) “Yeah, without hitting anybody,
without any of that, yes. Communication, some of the fundamentals and techniques in
which we coached last year maybe we’re trying to improve upon, tweak, but the calls, the
communication between the centers, quarterback and then obviously out to the rest of the
guys, I think has been definitely something we’re ahead of from last year at this point.
We’ve done so much blitz protection drills and communication and that’s all repetition and
seeing it, right? So, I think we’re definitely ahead of where we were last year. A lot closer to
maybe the season and the way those guys were doing at the end of the year.”
(On RB Chris Rodriguez Jr.) “Yeah. The injury report will come out at some point here.”
(On the running back room) “Yeah, it’s a group that has a lot of opportunities to them. It’s a
wide-open room. It’s truly wide open. Bringing Chris in only continues to provide those
opportunities for those guys. I’ve really liked how Tuten [RB Bhayshul Tuten] has run it this
spring so far and the way he looks as opposed to last year at this time. I think Chris will be a
good added thump that we continue to need and get some of those hard yards, which is
very difficult to see at this time of year. I think LeQuint [RB LeQuint Allen Jr.] had carved out
a nice role for himself last year and I think he’s eager for more and trying to get more
involved in the pass game and in the run game. I think Ameer [RB Ameer Abdullah], bringing
him in, DeeJay [RB DeeJay Dallas] and that whole room. I’m excited to see Taylor [RB J’Mari
Taylor] as well and see that whole room. What that looks like, I think some of those guys will
play in preseason games and be able to provide some of that opportunity because it’s so

hard to evaluate a running back until you’re playing tackle football. I think that our guys that
we have in the room, all three of them are going to be better when you play 11-on-11 tackle
football than right now in t-shirts and shorts, right? That’s not really all of their game. Their
game, a lot of them, is based on physicality, toughness, breaking tackles, extra yards, the
hidden yards in a game that we’re just not going to see out here.”
(On the most important thing for QB Trevor Lawrence for the remainder of OTAs) “I think it’s
the chemistry between he and BT [WR Brian Thomas Jr.] first and foremost. Working on that
chemistry. It was nice to see a great start to that today live and in person. I think those two
have worked at it this spring thus far throughout phase one, phase two and then showed up
in a nice way today. Just getting to that page where, he, BT, Parker, Jakobi [WR Jakobi
Meyers] specifically, they all really know what each other is doing, right? And what on each
concept, the spacing and areas of what those guys can do at a high level, what are some of
the weaknesses to be able to throw to each player a little bit differently? Not every guy is
going to run the route the exact same way. And mastering that, mastering how each guy
runs a route and being able to adjust to some of those things I think is critical for us moving
forward.”
(On S Caleb Ransaw’s work over the next month) “Huge. Not to obviously have a lot of the
experience that he was able to get last year. Having a quote unquote redshirt, if you will. So
he was in his playbook, he was watching tape and doing all those things, but it’s so hard to
take a step and really feel comfortable without doing it. This time is huge for Caleb to
actually go through those motions, to make those calls, to see the defense work from his
vantage point and how things work together, so I think it’s huge for Caleb.”
(On if WR/CB Travis Hunter is currently going through a similar exercise to what Ransaw did
last season) “Yeah, absolutely, I think Travis is. I asked him, he had a mic and he was
listening to the calls and I’m like, ‘Dude, you want to jump on there, don’t you? And start
talking, don’t you?’ So, it was great. The virtual room has been really good for Travis to be
able to go in there. We expanded that room downstairs to make it one big room and man,
you can go in there and essentially play a game. From the defensive back’s perspective, all
you see is the linebackers, the D-line and the offense, so, he can go in there in a half hour
and play a game and just go. Now you’re not going to be able to get a ton of the routes and
how they play out, but alignment, assignment, making calls, adjustments to formations
have been so valuable to him. And then to get out here and be able to hear the call, go line
up, say what he’s got, kind of walk a few steps through. I’ve been very pleased with Travis in
that way he looks, his upper body, the way that looks. He runs outside of my office in the
mornings and he looks like he’s been in the weight room, so I’ve been very pleased.”

(On how much Hunter will participate in OTAs) “It’s all limited, his participation, based on
what he’s able to do from the docs. That’s where I do think that virtual room is where he’s
living, it’s where he’s going to be in there about two to three times a day throughout the
weeks. He goes in there for 25-30 minutes at a time throughout the course of the day, that’s
accumulating a ton of reps that he’s not going to be able to get until he is cleared to go. So,
we’re really at the mercy of the rehab and the docs in terms of what that looks like in the
next steps of getting out on the grass, but really feel no pressure. I think he’s done a
phenomenal job.”
(On WR Jakobi Meyers and having a full offseason with him) “Yeah, I think it’s something we
probably took for granted a little bit because of how quick he came in and was seamlessly
involved in the offense and alignment and motions and doing all the right things. I think we
probably took for granted some of the core fundamentals and principles of the offense to
go back and teach him. And he is like, ‘Oh, well that’s what that word came from.’ Whereas
he maybe didn’t get any of that when he first came in, so I think that’s something that has
been nice to be able to work through, is to start from the bottom and start from the
beginning of just why we call formations what we call them. Why do we call this concept
‘gator,’ whatever it is, why do we call it these things? Getting some of the background and
understanding so he can get that big picture view and not so much just, man, I’ve got to
know what I’ve got to know. So yeah, that’s been nice to have.”
(On if he has gotten deeper into the playbook with Lawrence) “Yeah, I think it’s not as much
more as it is refined and something that we did at the bye that was trying to be very
intentional about man, what are the areas in which he’s really doing at a high level that we
can continue to lean into for the rest of this season? What were those things that are on the
shelf for the end of the season that we need to attack right now? One of those being getting
the ball down the field a little bit more with throwing the ball, posts, go’s, pushing the ball
down the field a little bit more. I know our average depth of target went up towards the
second half of the season, but we’ve got to keep pushing that envelope a little bit especially
with him and BT, that connection. So, it’s more refining the finer things of what he can do at
a high level. What are the areas that we put on the shelf to improve upon? Well, we’re
attacking those now.”
(On his message headed into year two) “Yeah, new year, new team, everything about the
way we’re attacking this is fresh and there’s a lot of things that we can lean into from last
season in terms of just scheduling, operation, things like that. But the entire message is
we’re attacking this season with a relentless pursuit. And the way that we’re going to go

about is, man, we’ll play any place, anytime, anywhere. That’s got to be the mindset and for
the games that we are at home, we need this city to continue to come out and support. But
we don’t care who we’re playing, what time it is, where it is, doesn’t matter. We’re going to
attack this thing with a relentless pursuit.”
