Jaguars Make Roster Moves (8-3-22) and Miami Dolphins activate Campbell

JACKSONVILLE – The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed OL Beau Benzschawel, the club announced today. Additionally, the team waived/injured OL Jared Hocker.

Benzschawel (pronounced BEN-shawl) has appeared in three NFL games with Detroit (2019 – two) and Houston (2020 – one). The Grafton, Wisc. native attended the University of Wisconsin, where he made 49 consecutive starts and earned First-Team All-Big Ten honors in 2017 and 2018 as an offensive guard.

Benzschawel will wear No. 70 for the Jaguars.


Miami Dolphins activate Campbell

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The Miami Dolphins today announced they have activated defensive back Elijah Campbell off the non-football injury list.

Campbell was awarded to Miami off waivers on Sept. 1, 2021 from the N.Y. Jets. He played in seven games with the Dolphins last year, totaling two special teams stops. He played in three games for the Jets in 2020. Campbell originally entered the NFL as an undrafted college free agent with Cleveland on May 4, 2018. He’s also made stops with the DC Defenders of the XFL and the Birmingham Iron of the Alliance of American Football. Campbell played collegiately at Northern Iowa.
