Jaguars Introduce Jags Pay to Take TIAA Bank Field Cashless

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Jaguars today introduced Jags Pay, an all-new contactless mobile payment technology at TIAA Bank Field designed with a contactless fan experience in mind.  Jags Pay is now available via the Jaguars’ official mobile app and can be utilized for all stadium concession and merchandise payments in 2020.

“Health and safety are at the forefront of all our fan experience upgrades in 2020,” said Chad Johnson, Jaguars senior vice president of sales and service and chief content officer.  “Jags Pay provides a contactless purchasing option and speeds up transactions ensuring fans can return to their seat as quickly as possible.  The technology also gives the Jaguars unique insight into the buying behavior of our fans.  In the future, we can customize their experience at TIAA Bank Field with exclusive offers tailored just for their game day style.”

Jags Pay technology is provided through a multi-year partnership with Tappit.  It allows fans to link any payment method, including a bank or credit card, Google or Apple Pay, to their official Jaguars app.  This is the same app used by fans to access their mobile tickets for entry on game day, ensuring fans can bring fewer personal items with them to the stadium and limit physical encounters with game day staff members.  Use of Jags Pay requires a unique pin or biometric access which minimizes the risk of theft and fraud.  Jaguars season ticket members will also have access to discounted concessions via Jags Pay.

Fans returning to TIAA Bank Field this fall are encouraged to walk through the brief set-up inside their official Jacksonville Jaguars mobile app prior to arrival at the stadium.  For more details on how to begin using Jags Pay, fans should visit www.jaguars.com/jagspay
