(On the young players on the team) “When you are young and you see an opportunity, you just have to take advantage of it. Player-wise, the only reason I am here is because I took advantage of the opportunities I was given. People just have to come and play and not make simple mistakes. It doesn’t matter if you are young or not, you have been playing football since youth football, so you should know how the game operates and what to do out there on the field.”
(On his thoughts about the defensive coverage) “It was just a bad game today and we are going to have to fix that. To the outside world it looks like a team that doesn’t really care about the game and what is at stake. There were people running around leaving men wide open and the game was at home, too, so it just shows the team what we need to fix before next game. I don’t want the fans or anybody to think that we don’t care because we are deeply rooted in this with everyone else. Our defensive captain, Calais [Campbell], has been on our backs about the way we have been playing, so now we have to figure something out.”
