(On whether CB CJ Henderson will play this week) “CJ missed yesterday for illness and we’re going to see  after today. He is questionable.”

(On what the plan would be with CB CJ Henderson out) “Tyson [Campbell] on the outside, yes. We are  still working through it, but Tyson has been playing pretty good.”

(On whether CB Tre Herndon will play) “Tre is still questionable. We’re going to find out after the— today is a big day for those two, [Tre and CJ]. And Roy [Robertson-Harris] has an ankle. So, those three  are the ones that are questionable. Everyone else is good to go.”

(On confirmation whether they worked out TE Trey Burton) “Trey Burton is coming in for a visit. He’s not  here yet.”

(On whether TE Jacob Hollister will be active this week) “Yes.”

(On what TE Jacob Hollister has shown in practice) “He shows speed. I think [Brian] Schottenheimer had  him in Seattle and he looks quick. He’s a nice, twitched up athletic tight end.”

(On why it’s become so common for quarterbacks to transition to other positions) “It’s usually that’s  where you put your best player a lot of the times, growing up, in college. I’ve always had great success  moving—Joe Haden was a quarterback, that’s a name from the past. But I always would take—because  a lot of times that’s your best player—and move him to other positions.”

(On whether it is fun to go through this process together with QB Trevor Lawrence) “I love Trevor  Lawrence. I love everything about that guy. I know Jacksonville will, or does. Is he having some growing  pains? Like I’ve always said from day one, this goes back 20 years, a quarterback gets a lot of the glory  when you win and gets a lot of the fingers pointed at him when he loses. It’s an offense. The one  common characteristic of every great quarterback is he has a great team around him. Every great  quarterback has that and we will do that, we are growing that right now. So, yeah that kid is  unbelievable to coach. Everything about the guy is an A plus.”

(On whether CB Tyson Campbell is the ultimate next man up) “We are very pleased with where Tyson is.  He’s going to have a long career in the NFL, he’s a grinder, worker, great kid. I kind of said that last time I  met with you guys, all I ever worry about in my career is our locker room. That’s everywhere and I’ve  been lucky. I’ve never really had a bad locker room. These guys are unbelievable to coach right now.  These guys, they want to win, they want to grind, they want to work, they’re sticking together. And  Tyson is a perfect example of that. He’s a young cat that is a very, very talented guy and he’s going to be  a great player.”

(On whether K Josh Lambo had a good week) “Yeah, he had a really good week. I’ve got confidence in  that guy. You look at his career stats and I know Nick [Sorensen] went back and watched the year, I think  it was 33 hits and one miss. Just hang in there, man. I’ve got a lot of confidence in him. Like I said, he’s as  hard a working specialist as I’ve ever been around.”

(On what it says about the team when S Andrew Wingard lifted K Josh Lambo’s chin after a miss) “It says  we have a good locker room. It says our guys care about each other and I care about that guy. If it’s a  player that doesn’t grind and work, then I’ve got a problem with that. But he’s a competitor and he’s a  worker.”

(On the importance of the run game for a rookie quarterback) “Well, we are doing fine with the number  of carries, not number of carries, but yards, which I don’t care about that stuff, but someone brought it  to my attention. We have to establish it and get James [Robinson] going. Once again, James is a great  dude, Carlos [Hyde] great dude. We’ve got to get them going and our line has been, I don’t want to say a  strong point, but very consistent so far, so we’ve just got to get that going.”

(On how the run game could take some pressure off QB Trevor Lawrence) “Well, whenever you drop  back the pass as many times as we have—In this league, on both sides you’re facing some tremendous pass rushers and another group of them this week. So, the balance where you’re not pinning your ears  back and jumping all over the quarterback, that’s not what we want.”
