Inter Miami CF Announces 2022 MLS Regular Season Schedule

MIAMI (December 15, 2021) – Inter Miami CF announced today the club’s 34-match schedule for the 2022 Major League Soccer (MLS) regular season, which will kick off at home against the Chicago Fire FC on Feb. 26 and conclude with a Decision Day clash against CF Montréal at DRV PNK Stadium on Oct. 9.

The 2022 home schedule boasts 11 Saturday matches, four Sunday fixtures and only two contests on weekdays. Inter Miami CF’s 2022 regular season schedule is available HERE. Fans are also encouraged to download the digital calendar.

The earliest regular season start date in League history will see Inter Miami CF open the highly awaited 2022 campaign at home at DRV PNK Stadium on Feb. 26. Eight days later, Inter Miami CF will hit the road to face Austin FC, for the first matchup between the clubs, on March 6. The game will be televised on ESPN and is one of seven nationally televised matches in the United States on Inter Miami’s regular season schedule – three on ESPN, one on ESPN2, one on FS1, one on Univision and one on UniMás. The team’s international broadcast information will continue to be available in the matchday guide ahead of each fixture shared through the club’s digital channels.

In addition to Austin FC, Inter Miami CF will face Seattle Sounders FC, Charlotte FC, Minnesota United FC and the San Jose Earthquakes for the first time in club history during the 2022 regular season, in addition to welcoming LAFC, the Portland Timbers and Minnesota United FC to DRV PNK Stadium for the first time.

CBS4 (Broward County and Miami-Dade County) and UniMás (Broward County and Miami-Dade County) will serve as the local television home of Inter Miami CF in 2022. In addition, ESPN+ will stream all regional broadcasts nationally, out-of-market, in the U.S. and any nationally televised matches not aired by an English-language network will again be streamed live in English on Twitter.

Major League Soccer’s 27th season will feature 28 clubs, with each team playing 34 matches – 17 at home and 17 away. Inter Miami CF will face each of its 14 fellow Eastern Conference opponents two times while also playing eight non-conference opponents once.

The Audi 2022 MLS Cup Playoffs directly follow the regular season, with three consecutive weeks of action leading up to the 2022 MLS Cup on Saturday, Nov. 5, more than two weeks prior to the start of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar on Nov. 21.
