FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Bally Sports Florida, the new network home of the Florida Panthers, will debut an all-new episode of “Inside the Panthers” on Sunday, April 4 upon conclusion of Florida’s game vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets. On this edition of “Inside the Panthers: Making an Impact,” Jessica Blaylock hosts and highlights the efforts made by General Manager Bill Zito to bring in veteran leadership and talent this season. Key off-season additions have helped propel the Panthers to their current second-place standing in the Discover Central Division.
Patric Hornqvist won a pair of Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins, and his physical play in front of the net has him on pace to score at least 20 goals. Carter Verhaeghe leads the Panthers in goals scored this season and the league in full-strength goals. A pair of former Blue Jackets in Anthony Duclair and Alex Wennberg have made their presence felt with their play on the team’s top two lines. Finally, defenseman Radko Gudas has let his physicality do the talking on the ice so “Inside the Panthers” mic’d him up in practice to hear him in action.
Tune in Sunday afternoon starting at 4:30 p.m. to watch the Panthers play the Blue Jackets on Bally Sports Florida, followed by the premiere of “Inside the Panthers: Making an Impact.”
