Horizon League Reveals Bracket for #HLMBB Player of the Decade Fan Vote

INDIANAPOLIS – To celebrate the past 10 years of men’s basketball success in the Horizon League and after announcing the All-Decade Team in March, the HL revealed the bracket for the Horizon League Player of the Decade fan vote. The bracket can be found at Horizonleague.org.

Each member of the #HLMBB All-Decade Team will be placed into a 10-team, double-bye bracket similar to the one used for the 2020 Horizon League Basketball Championships. Beginning Monday, April 13, fans can vote on Twitter by going to @HorizonLeague on each head-to-head matchup. Seeding was determined based on the #HLMBB All-Decade Team fan vote. Each round of voting will take place over a three-day span. The winners will advance through the bracket until the #HLMBB Player of the Decade is crowned on Friday, April 24.

In preparation for the #HLMBB Player of the Decade fan vote, every day this week the HL will be highlighting members of the Horizon League All-Decade Team at HorizonLeague.com and on its social media accounts by going to @HorizonLeague.

Over the last 10 years, the Horizon League has earned two NCAA Final Four appearances in addition to championship game appearances in the NCAA, NIT, and CIT postseason tournaments.

The HL has also seen seven players drafted to the NBA and three players have eclipsed the 2,000-point mark in their careers.
