High School All-Stars to compete in Phillies Softball Carpenter Cup presented by Nike, which kicks off Monday, June 19

June 16th, 2023

It’s now time for top high school softball players to compete in front of college scouts during the Phillies Softball Carpenter Cup presented by Nike, which begins on Monday, June 19, at the Phillies MLB Urban Youth Academy Softball Fields at FDR Park. All games are open to the public.

This 31-game tournament, recognized nationally as one of the finest softball tournaments for high school students, continues until Wednesday, June 21. For many players, the Phillies Softball Carpenter Cup presented by Nike has been a catalyst for scholarships and admission to the country’s top universities.

“This is where the best of the best come to play ball,” said Phillies Director of Youth Baseball and Softball Development Jon Joaquin. “Hundreds of all-star softball athletes from the tri-state area will be competing in our Softball Carpenter Cup presented by Nike, and we wish them all the best of luck in their journey toward a championship title.”

In addition, all-star high school baseball players are getting the chance to compete in front of college and major league scouts via the Phillies Baseball Carpenter Cup presented by Nike, with the semi-final and championship games scheduled for Monday, June 26, and Tuesday, June 27, at Citizens Bank Park.
