Gators Move to No. 8 in Latest IWLCA Poll

Florida drops to eighth in the latest poll after going 1-1 over the last week

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida lacrosse team moved to No. 8 in the latest Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association poll, as the organization announced Monday afternoon.

The Gators went 1-1 this past week, dropping a road contest to then-No. 15 Dartmouth before defeating High Point at home on Saturday.

Florida will face three more ranked opponents this season: No. 1 North Carolina, No. 13 Princeton and No. 19 Navy.

The Gators return to action on Tuesday against No. 19 Navy. Opening draw is set for 12 p.m. at Donald R. Dizney Stadium.
