The Orange and Blue kit takes a break Sunday as the Gators wear pink to show their support for the fight against cancer.

Both Florida and Vanderbilt are coming off 2-1 losses last Sunday.
Florida dropped a 2-1 decision at No. 11 Texas A&M. The Aggies scored both of their goals in the opening half – Barbara Olivieri off a corner kick and Jimena Lopez converted a penalty kick. Florida stepped up their intensity and matched A&M physicality in the second half. Sophomore Syd Kennedy cut the Aggie lead in half with her first Gator goal in the 58th minute. Madison Alexander’s sliding pass found Kennedy at the top of the box where she scored on a left-footed shot.
The final score was a typical result between these two programs as 13 of the 17 all-time meetings have been decided by a single goal.
About Vanderbilt :
Vanderbilt returns redshirt junior Haley Hopkins, who scored 13 goals and registered four assists in 2019. Her two goals in 2020 again leads the Commodores this season. Senior midfielder Maddie Elwell led the Commodores last season with 10 assists.
Each of VU’s four matches this season were decided by a goal – 3-2 win at Kentucky followed by losses at Tennessee (1-0), at Missouri (2-1) and versus South Carolina (2-1 2OT).
Darren Ambrose is in his sixth year as Vanderbilt’s head coach. The 2018 SEC Coach of the Year, Ambrose led the Commodores to their third league title and first since 1994 with an 8-1-1 regular-season record.
