GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Florida soccer faces its sixth top-25 opponent of the fall Sunday at No. 23 Auburn. The match airs live on ESPNU at 1 p.m. ET.
* Three of the last four meetings between UF and AU were decided by a single goal, with the fourth at the 2018 Southeastern Conference Tournament ending tied at 1-all (the Gators advanced to the tournament’s quarterfinal round on penalty kicks).
* Gators will look for their first win on the Plains since 2012. Of Florida’s 10 previous visits to Auburn, seven of those meetings were decided by a single goal (AU 5-2 advantage in one goal meetings in Auburn).

Florida’s Last Match:
Florida dropped a 3-2 match in overtime to Missouri on Oct. 10 at the Donald R. Dizney Stadium. Florida responded to MU’s Blythe Beldner’s score in the 19th minute with a set play goal at 21:11. Taylor Baksay headed in her first collegiate goal off a Nicole Vernis’ cross that started with Delaney Tauzel’s corner kick at 21:11.
Madison Alexander’s outstretched left leg put in a deflection by the MU goalkeeper in the 66th minute. It was Alexander’s first goal of 2021 and 14th of her Gator career. Missouri’s Jadyn Easley tied the match at 67:04 when the she collided with a Gator defender at the top of the six-yard box and the spin of the ball carried it over the line. Easley hit the golden goal at 90:51 off an angled shot.
