Game Day Fan Information: Jaguars vs. Broncos

Fans are invited to TIAA Bank Field this Sunday, Sept. 19 as the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Denver Broncos in their regular season home opener. The matchup kicks off at 1 p.m. and will be broadcast regionally on CBS and on radio on WJXL (1010 AM, 92.5 FM) and in Spanish on 930AM/97.3FM via Accion. This week’s game is presented by TIAA Bankand is also the Jaguars’ Fan Appreciation Game as they welcome back fans to a full-capacity stadium in the regular season for the first time since Dec. 29, 2019.

RETURN TO FULL CAPACITY

For the first time since 2019, the Jaguars will open TIAA Bank Field to its full capacity for a regular season game.  Fans who are returning to the stadium for the first time in a while should visit www.jaguars.com/stadium to review game day policies and watch a helpful “Know Before You Go” video. 

Key policies to remember:

  • Be Clear on Game Day – The NFL’s clear bag policy is in effect at TIAA Bank Field.  Fans are encouraged to leave all bags at home, but, if one is necessary, it should be either a clear bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” or a non-clear bag no larger than 4.5” x 6.5.”
  • Mobile Ticketing – Fans should have their mobile tickets downloaded and ready to scan prior to arriving at the entry gates.  To access your tickets, download the Official Jaguars Mobile App.
  • Cashless Transactions – Cash is no longer accepted anywhere in the stadium. In addition to traditional scan and chip options, all fixed points of sale will offer tap or scan payment options including JagsPay, Apple, Google and Samsung Pay.

FAN APPRECIATION

The Jaguars would like to welcome back their loyal fans to the stadium in style. Before and throughout the game, there will be various giveaways, including headbands, bucket hats and much more. Stay tuned to in-stadium announcements for more information! 

Bud Light is also inviting fans to its Bud Light Living Room after a year of watching games in their own homes. Located inside of Gate 1, the Bud Light Living Room will feature appearances by Jaguars alumni, Jaxson De Ville and more. Fans can also enter to win Jaguars- and Bud Light-branded refrigerators, t-shirts and more.

EARLY ARRIVAL A MUST

In anticipation of a return to full capacity, Jaguars fans are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early.  Increased crowds and construction around the sports complex will impact traffic patterns.  Parking lots open four hours prior to kickoff for tailgating.  The Fan Entertainment Zone opens three hours prior to kickoff in the south end of the stadium near Gates 1 and 4.  All stadium gates will open at 11 a.m.

The Jaguars will hold player introductions starting promptly at 12:53 p.m. The team’s offensive starters will be introduced individually as the Jaguars take the field against the Broncos.

GAME DAY ENTERTAINMENT

This week’s national anthem will be performed GRAMMY Award nominee Jekalyn Carr. She has earned eight career Billboard #1 before the age of 21, which include her hit singles “You’re Bigger” and “You Will Win.” Carr is the girlfriend of Jaguars starting right tackle Jawaan Taylor. A flyover will be performed by the “Eagles” of U.S. Navy Training 7 in two T-45C Goshawks out of Naval Air Station Meridian, Miss.

The Jaguars traditional First DUUUVAL, presented by Duval Motor Company, will be delivered by Lil Duval. Born and raised in Jacksonville, he adopted the stage name “Lil Duval” to pay homage to his birthplace in Duval County. The halftime show will feature Bold City Classics featuring Chris Thomas. A native of Chicago and longtime resident of Jacksonville, Thomas has performed with various bands within Florida for the past 15 years. A professionally-trained and competitive dancer, he combines dance, vocal and the best musicians in north Florida to deliver an unforgettable performance.

FAN HEALTH AND SAFETY

The Jaguars and all stadium partners continue to prioritize fan health and safety.  Many of last year’s contactless experience features remain in place, including touchless security screening and ticket-scanning procedures, mobile ordering and cashless transactions and enhanced cleaning of public spaces.  In accordance with state and local guidelines, masks are recommended for unvaccinated guests, and anyone feeling unwell is encouraged to stay home.  TIAA Bank Field remains a smoke-free facility.
