Fans are invited to TIAA Bank Field on Sunday to see the Jacksonville Jaguars host the Los Angeles Chargers. The game kicks off at 4:05 p.m. and will be broadcast for television by FOX, locally on WFOX, and on radio on WJXL (1010AM, 92.5 FM) and 99.9 FM Gator Country. Sunday’s annual My Cause My Cleats game is presented by Universal Orlando Resorts.
MY CAUSE MY CLEATS
Week 14 is the start of the NFL’s fourth annual My Cause My Cleats campaign, in which players will debut custom cleats in-game. More than 50 Jaguars players have elected to participate by working with local and national artists to customize cleats to represent a cause or organization that is important to them. Each pair of shoes tells a personal story, and many will be donated to NFL Auction to raise funds for their chosen organization. KIDS DAY AT THE BANK
Sunday is Kids Day at TIAA Bank Field with children taking the lead in pregame and halftime ceremonies. Fans can also expect extra kid-specific content throughout the game day experience. The Lycamobile Fan Entertainment Zone presented by PRI Productions opens at 1 p.m. between Gates 1 and 4 and will feature separate photo opportunities with The Grinch and Santa Claus ahead of the holiday season. The Honor Rows in sections 442 and 443 will be filled with 1,100 sixth grade students who participated in either Play 60 or Fuel Up to Play 60 programming this past semester.
On Sunday afternoon, 175 Junior ROAR participants will entertain the crowd with a holiday halftime performance. The Junior ROAR program invites children between the ages of 6 and 17 to show off their dance moves and team spirit in a routine taught by members of THE ROAR of the Jaguars. Sunday’s routine marks the 25th annual performance by the Junior ROAR, which started during the team’s inaugural season. The Junior ROAR program is presented by Fuel Up to Play 60 and Subway.
PREGAME PATRIOTISM
Following team introductions, the national anthem will be performed by more than 30 members of the Jacksonville Children’s Chorus, who, like the Jaguars, are also celebrating their 25th season. Courtney Brown will interpret for the hearing impaired, and the colors will be presented by the U.S. Marine Corps’ Blount Island Command Color Guard. Two American field flags will be held by children who participated in the Play 60 program, designed to educate kids on the importance of 60 minutes of exercise each day. This Sunday’s flyover will be performed by F-15s of the 125th Fighter Wing, a unit of the Florida Air National Guard, stationed in Jacksonville.
JAGUARS ALL-25 FEATURED PLAYER
In celebration of the team’s 25th season, the team unveiled the Jaguars All-25 presented by Sharpie, a collection of the top 25 non-active players in franchise history, as voted on by members of the local media. A member of the Jaguars All-25 will be featured at each home game, continuing this Sunday with former DT Marcus Stroud, who was named No. 9 on the list. Stroud was originally selected by the Jaguars in the first round (13th overall) of the 2001 NFL Draft. He proceeded to play in all 16 games for the first five seasons of his career in Jacksonville, which included three consecutive Pro Bowl appearances from 2003-05. Stroud will deliver the traditional First DUUUVAL for the game and sign autographs for fans from 2:30 – 3 p.m. in the Lycamobile Fan Entertainment Zone presented by PRI Productions.
MILITARY HONOREES
During the game, the Jaguars will honor Command Sgt. Maj. Henry Sellers as the Veteran of the Game presented by Dr. Patrick Basile. Sellers served numerous assignments including Korea and Germany and two deployments in Vietnam. He taught JROTC courses for 23 years in Duval County Public Schools. The First Data Veteran-Owned Business of the Game is Future Home Loans represented by its managing partner and Army veteran, Robert Lynn. As the game enters the fourth quarter, the Navy Mutual Bell Ringer will be Lt. Col. Jason Halvorsen, who has served 23 years in the U.S. Air Force, flying over 1,900 hours in the F-16. Halvorsen has completed two combat deployments supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom and currently protects our nation’s capital flying the F-16 with the 121st Fighter Squadron.
STADIUM ENTRY THROUGH GATE 5
For the remainder of the season, the Jaguars and our stadium partners will continue to utilize the brand-new entry gate on the south side of the sports complex as part of ongoing improvements to the game day fan experience. Gate 5, located on the south side of the Dream Finders Homes Flex Field at Daily’s Place, will welcome fans approaching the stadium from the south along Gator Bowl Blvd. Located between Dream Finders Homes Gate 1 and Lycamobile Gate 4, Gate 5 will open at 10 a.m. and welcome fans through the Dream Finders Homes Flex Field hangar doors. All pre-existing gates will remain open. Attendees parking in Lots F, K, H, Q and X are encouraged to consider using the new magnetometers and ticket scanners at the new entrance.
SECURE DIGITAL TICKETING
In conjunction with Ticketmaster, the Jaguars will utilize secure digital ticketing this season. Fans will continue to utilize the Official Jacksonville Jaguars app to access their mobile tickets on game day. This year, they will now notice that each ticket has a moving barcode. This dynamic barcode updates every 15 seconds, eliminating the ability to use a screenshot as entry to TIAA Bank Field and further preventing counterfeit tickets. Fans can still conveniently transfer tickets to friends or family via email or text using their mobile device.
Fans are encouraged to download or update the free Official Jacksonville Jaguars app on both Apple and Android devices. The Jaguars have also developed a detailed secure digital ticket guide to aid fans in accessing, transferring or selling their tickets for the upcoming season. BE PREPARED ON GAME DAY
The NFL’s clear bag policy is in effect at TIAA Bank Field. Fans are encouraged to leave all bags at home, but, if necessary, it should be either a clear bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12”, or a non-clear bag no larger than 4.5” x 6.5.” Strict size enforcement will be in place for all non-clear bags. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and plan for traffic accordingly. Fans should plan to be inside stadium gates at least one hour prior to kickoff.
