Game Day Fan Information: Browns vs. Jaguars

Fans are invited to TIAA Bank Field this Saturday, Aug. 14 as the Jacksonville Jaguars begin the 2021 preseason against the Cleveland Browns.  The matchup kicks off at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast locally on WJAX-TV CBS47 and on radio on WJXL (1010AM, 92.5 FM) and in Spanish on 930AM/97.3FM via Accion. This week’s game is presented by Gate and will celebrate the NFL’s Play Football month.

RETURN TO FULL CAPACITY

For the first time since 2019, the Jaguars will open TIAA Bank Field to its full capacity.  Fans who are returning to the stadium for the first time in a while should visit www.jaguars.com/stadium to review game day policies and watch a helpful “Know Before You Go” video.

Key policies to remember:

  • Be Clear on Game Day – The NFL’s clear bag policy is in effect at TIAA Bank Field.  Fans are encouraged to leave all bags at home, but, if one is necessary, it should be either a clear bag no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” or a non-clear bag no larger than 4.5” x 6.5.”
  • Mobile Ticketing – Fans should have their mobile tickets downloaded and ready to scan prior to arriving at the entry gates.  To access your tickets, download the Official Jaguars Mobile App.
  • Cashless Transactions – Cash is no longer accepted anywhere in the stadium. In addition to traditional scan and chip options, all fixed points of sale will offer tap or scan payment options including JagsPay, Apple, Google and Samsung Pay.

FAN HEALTH AND SAFETY

The Jaguars and all stadium partners continue to prioritize fan health and safety.  Many of last year’s contactless experience features remain in place, including touchless security screening and ticket-scanning procedures, mobile ordering and cashless transactions and enhanced cleaning of public spaces.  In accordance with state and local guidelines, masks are recommended for unvaccinated guests, and anyone feeling unwell is encouraged to stay home.  TIAA Bank Field remains a smoke-free facility.

EARLY ARRIVAL A MUST

In anticipation of a return to full capacity, Jaguars fans are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and arrive early.  Increased crowds and construction around the sports complex will impact traffic patterns.  Parking lots open four hours prior to kickoff for tailgating.  The Fan Entertainment Zone opens three hours prior to kick off in the south end of the stadium near Gates 1 and 4.  All stadium gates will open at 5 p.m.

GAME DAY ENTERTAINMENT

This week’s national anthem will be performed by the students of SET Studios, an award-winning children’s theatre company in Jacksonville that specializes in the education of music, dance and theatre for kids.  The colors will be presented by members of the Moody Air Force Base Color Guard.  The Jaguars’ traditional First DUUUVAL, presented by Duval Motor Company, will be delivered from the north deck by local PGA Tour golfer and hometown favorite Jim Furyk
