Florida Panthers To Host Hockey Fights Cancer Night presented by Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center This Saturday

Friday, April 23, 2021 

SUNRISE, Fla. – Please be advised the Florida Panthers will host Hockey Fights Cancer Night presented by Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center on Saturday, April 24 when the Panthers host the Carolina Hurricanes at 7 p.m. ET. Fans attending the night are encouraged to wear purple at BB&T Center.  

During warmups, players will wear special purple Hockey Fights Cancer jerseys and utilize exclusive pucks that will be available on FlaTeamShop.com following the game. 

Fans in attendance and online will be encouraged to share their experiences and connections with the night using ‘I Fight For’ cards at socially distant tables located right inside main doors or by sharing on social media @FlaPanthers on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.  

Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center will be giving out a limited number of rally towels to fans in attendance. To claim, visit the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center table on the main concourse.  

The Florida Panthers Foundation will award Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center a $25,000 donation to support their cancer research in the South Florida community.

Prior to puck drop, two-time cancer survivor and musical theater enthusiast Molly Oldham will sing the National Anthem prior to the game. Molly was diagnosed with Stage 3 anaplastic ependymoma in August 2019, had a recurrence in January 2021 and received her final chemotherapy treatment last week.
