Florida Panthers To Hold Sled Hockey Practice at FLA Live Arena on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 2:30 p.m

SUNRISE, Fla. – Please be advised that the Florida Panthers will hold a sled hockey practice at FLA Live Arena on Sunday, Oct. 24 at 2:30 p.m.

These 15 sled hockey players who reside within a 75-mile radius of Sunrise, Fla will have their final practice at FLA Live Arena on Sunday prior to representing the Florida Panthers at the 11th Annual USA Hockey Sled Classic presented by the NHL from Nov. 18-21 in Wayne, New Jersey. The Panthers will present each player with a Panthers home red jersey prior to the practice. 

The roster is comprised of men and women of all ages from a variety of different backgrounds and physical abilities which includes one veteran who will be honored as the Panthers Military Hero Among Us during the game on Oct. 27.   

First staged in 2010, the USA Hockey Sled Classic is an annual round-robin format tournament between NHL-affiliated sled hockey teams. Participating teams in the tournament must have an official affiliation with an NHL member club and must represent their affiliated NHL club by wearing official NHL licensed jerseys with local club marks and logos.
