Florida Panthers Recall Forward Owen Tippett, Defenseman Riley Stillman from Florida’s Taxi Squad

Panthers announce additional roster transactions

SUNRISE, Fla. – Florida Panthers General Manager Bill Zito announced today that the forward Owen Tippett and defenseman Riley Stillman have been recalled from Florida’s Taxi Squad, forward Brett Connolly has been loaned to Florida’s Taxi Squad and forward Noel Acciari has been activated from injured reserve.

Tippett, 22, has appeared in 14 games with Florida, recording three points (1-2-3). The 6-foot-1, 207-pound native of Peterborough, Ontario, has appeared in 21 career National Hockey League games, all with Florida (2017-18 to 2020-21), registering four points (2-2-4).

He was originally selected by Florida in the first round (10th overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft.

Stillman, 22, has appeared in one game with Florida, making his season debut on Jan. 19 against the Chicago Blackhawks. The 6-foot-1, 196-pound native of Peterborough, Ontario, has appeared in 36 career NHL games, all with Florida (2018-19 to 2020-21), posting five points (0-5-5). Stillman has played in three postseason games with Florida (2019-20). 

He was originally selected by Florida in the fourth round (114th overall) of the 2016 NHL Draft.

Additionally, the Panthers have placed forward Anthony Duclair and defenseman Noah Juulsen on injured reserve.
