Florida Panthers Foundation To Host American Special Hockey Association’s 2022 Friendly Games from June 10-12

Florida Panthers Foundation will host the 2022 American Special Hockey Association’s ‘Friendly Games’ Tournament from Friday, June 10 to Sunday, June 12.  

The tournament will kick off on Friday, June 10 at FLA Live Arena with a ‘Welcome Event’ where players will receive a new jersey for the tournament and a few other special surprises including a Panthers locker room tour between 6-8 PM.  

On Saturday, June 11 and Sunday, June 12, the players will participate in a Coaches Chalk Talk interactive Q&A session before beginning the tournament at Panthers IceDen. The tournament will take place from 4-5:30 PM on Saturday and 12-1:30 PM on Sunday.  

The ASHA ‘Friendly Games’ features 31 of the best, high-skilled special hockey players from around the United States. This will be ASHA’s first ‘unified’ tournament which consists of both special hockey players and high school league hockey players together on one team.  

The Panthers Foundation is funding the entirety of the 2022 ‘Friendly Games’ through a $20,000 grant. Through a previous Panthers Foundation grant, the Panthers created their first-ever Special Hockey Team
