Florida Panthers Foundation ‘Territory Teammates’ Nomination Drive Seeks to Honor Local Heroes

Presented by Moss Construction, fans can nominate a local community hero giving back during the COVID-19 pandemic

SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers Foundation announced today the launch of the ‘Territory Teammates’ nomination drive presented by Moss Construction. With ‘Territory Teammates,’ the Panthers aim to give recognition to South Florida’s local community heroes who are going above and beyond to serve, help and inspire others during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fans and others are encouraged to visit FloridaPanthers.com/TerritoryTeammates to nominate someone who deserves to be recognized for their generous work during these unprecedented times. At the conclusion of the nomination period, five finalists’ stories will be selected. Fans will then have the chance to vote for the ‘Territory Teammates’ story that had a significant impact on them. Nominations must be submitted by June 22, 2020 for consideration for the final round.

“During these unprecedented times, we wanted to give the South Florida community a platform to share a story of a local community hero,” said Senior Director of Florida Panthers Foundation & Community Relations John Colombo. “Whether it’s a grocery store worker, a neighbor or nurse we encourage our fans to nominate those in their life who are going above and beyond so we can make sure they receive the recognition they deserve.”

“Moss is proud to be the presenting Sponsor for this well-deserved recognition of people in our community serving on the front line of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said President of the Moss Foundation Chad Moss. “The shared culture and values, between Moss and the Florida Panthers Foundation, including honoring relationships, inspires us to work together to lift up the community and the heroes among us.”
