SUNRISE, Fla. – The Florida Panthers announced today that in continued partnership with Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, the club will present their annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night on Saturday, Nov. 20 when the Panthers host the Minnesota Wild at 6 p.m.

“We are honored to present our annual night working together with premier cancer research institution, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center for our annual Hockey Fights Cancer Night at FLA Live Arena,” said Panthers Chief Commercial Officer Shawn Thornton. “This night is dedicated to honoring those who continue their battle, remembering those we’ve lost to this terrible disease and ultimately bringing awareness and raising funds for cancer research.”

Prior to the game at FLA Live Arena, the Panthers and Gift of Life will facilitate a first-time meeting between a bone marrow donor and a ‘Gift of Life’ recipient who was treated at Sylvester, part of UHealth – University of Miami Health System. The bone marrow recipient and Sylvester physician, Dr. Antonio Martin Jimenez Jimenez will drop the puck Saturday night.

Fans are invited to fill out ‘I Fight For’ cards on the JetBlue Tarmac and inside main doors at FLA Live Arena to share their stories and show support for those in their circles who are battling. All fans will receive a purple rally towel on their seat courtesy of Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

All players will wear Hockey Fights Cancer warm-up jerseys on Nov. 20 and use custom warm-up pucks that will be available at Inside the Boards at FLA Live Arena. Select Hockey Fights Cancer merchandise such as jerseys, hats, shirts and more will be available for purchase at Pantherland.

The Florida Panthers Foundation will sell mystery-signed Hockey Fights Cancer pucks through FlaPanthers.givesmart.com. The Foundation will present Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center with a $25,000 check to support cancer research and awareness.

As part of Stoli Saturdays, Stoli will offer a specialty purple cocktail on the CITY Lounge by CITY Furniture, JetBlue Tarmac and Coors Light Cold Zone with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Panthers Foundation.

On Saturday morning, the Panthers and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center will hold the second-annual Stache Dash at FLA Live Arena where fans can sign up to run a 5K or walk one mile.
